Missing
NL submissions?
12:22 - SA Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
Some people have reported to me that some of their submissions for
the newsletter were included in NL #73. NL #73 covers March 2001 only.
All April 2001 submissions will be included in NL #74.
However, if you did submit something in March and it didn't appear in the newsletter, I, for some reason or another, did not receive it. No submissions were denied or rejected this month and the authors of rejected submissions would've been contacted. If this was the case, please let me know and resubmit your NL submission to ehnewsletter@aol.com so it can be included in NL #74.
Challenge COM appointed
11:50 - FA
Priyum Patel [spellfire@btinternet.com]
Many congratulations go out to Rear Admiral Manitsas who has been
appointed as the new Commodore for the ISD Challenge. Manitsas has been a long
standing member of the ship, and should prove to be a fine
choice.

20:15 - FA Kessler [kessler@btinternet.com]
http://www.501st.com/ - The website of the Web's
definitive Imperial Costuming Club. With 430+ members worldwide, and strictly NO
Rebel scum allowed. Anyone who owns or is interested in Star Wars costuming
should visit this site for images, tips and guidelines on making your own
Imperial costume, as well as comprehensive galleries of member Stormtroopers,
TIE Pilots, Officers, AT-AT pilots, Royal Guards, Sith Lords and much, much
more.
(And if LucasFilm finds out these people are selling T-Shirts with their logos on them, they'll probably shut this group down too - SA Kawolski)

20:04 - AD Michael Tolwyn [darkjedi@otelo-online.de]
Easter weekend was the JediCon 2001 in Germany, featuring Jeremy
"Boba Fett" Bulloch. And guess what? He signed an autograph for us
(again)! Take a look at it at http://www.medcorps.de/bulloch.html.
Imperial Vogue
19:43 - COL Mairin
[somnia_vacua@yahoo.com]
With the demise of EH Cosmospolitan and Battlecry, Mairin and Werdna
have teamed up to produce the new generation of EH magazine: Imperial Vogue!
We need you! We want articles, emails, funny IRC logs, everything! This is a magazine for the EH, so send us in whatever you're interested in.
Being the cheap people we are, we'll take anything! Send submissions to werdna_elbee@emperorshammer.ca and somnia_vacua@yahoo.com.
SpecOps
Projects
19:41 - VA Draye C. Maaric [belair2267@email.com]
Greetings. To facilitate an increase in activity, the Special
Operations Director (SOD) is now accepting new project ideas. The only criteria
as of right now are as follows:
1. New projects must involved the
Emperor's Hammer or once of it's respective subgroups.
2. Any and all
suggestions must be original. No cheap knock-offs of other projects or programs.
3. Make them cool! The EH already has a great foundation for doing what
it set out to do (being the largest Star Wars organization in the world and
all), so let's all contribute to make it an even more fun group to be a part of!
As soon as I get a SpecOps webpage up and running, there will be a submission form for sending in such ideas and suggestions. For now, just send them to me at belair2267@email.com. Hope to hear from you soon!
Newsletter #73 released
18:53 - SA
Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
Yes, it's very late. I'll explain why in my upcoming report. Special
thanks go to Admiral Quake for help putting this together with HTMLizing
submissions. If it weren't for his help, this NL would've been held back and
released along side with NL #74.

COL
Callista awarded the MoH
18:16 - SA Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
All out congratulations go to the TIE Corps' own Colonel Callista for being
awarded the Emperor's Hammer highest award, the Medal of Honor!
She has been responsible for several magazine article mentions and was the coordinator of running the Emperor's Hammer booth at Jedi Con 2001 in Germany, which will be featured in Newsletter #74!
You can check out some images at her new homepage at: http://www.geocities.com/callista111/
Correction
03:30 - AD StarLion [colstarlion@hotmail.com]
RA Troutrooper has informed me that the battles we posted yesterday
were the un-corrected versions which he sent by mistake. All mirrors have been
updated with the corrected version now.
New/Corrected Battles
19:41 - AD
StarLion [colstarlion@hotmail.com]
A whole slew of Battles have been released, corrected or new. Check
TAC Report #12 (It should be somewhere...over...on the right over
there...ya...right there.) for a complete list.
NOTE: Battles are now
uploaded to all three Battle Mirror sites.
Star
Wars mods in trouble
11:26 - SA Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
Star Wars Quake isn't the only mod closing shop. The Half-Life mod,
Imperial Battles, has closed their doors due to lack of interest and the loss of
their website by Chaos Realm. The mod authors have stated on their message board
that they will eventually go open source to allow someone else to continue the
work.
Unreal Tournament: Emperor's Hammer is also closing down if Prefect Ares cannot find more helpers, especially in the modeling and graphics department.
Star
Wars Quake: The Call of the Force Project Closed
06:43 - FA Absolutek [io@absolutek.com]
The project to create the Star Wars Quake 2 total conversion called
"The Call of the Force", has be closed down. The source code for the
project has been posted on their website at http://swtc.telefragged.com/news.shtml. Personally, I hate
to see this just die. If i knew C++ better, i'd pick it up myself and port it to
Q3A. May be someone else out there has the knowledge?
Wing News:
This week has seen the arrival of many new recruits, even though they may not all be in our squad. Please help out in anyway you can.
Our beloved Wing Commander has returned from leave, welcome back LC!
RA Ender mBind has started getting ready for the MP training school, if you are interested, please contact myself if you want to join as an instructor or a student. I will forward the info to him...
Squad News:
First: I'm pleased to announce the arrival of SL Da'Ger. Make him feel welcome. He has already contacted me and flown (and won) in a MP event! Great work SL! You will do a great asset to the squad I imagine.
Second: I'm afraid I will have to accept the fact that CM Bip will not contact me. I will give him till this week-end to contact me. If I don't hear from him by then, I will have to remove him from the roster.
Third: I have decided to implement a point system to determine activity and awards for it. I will be putting an emphasis on multi-player but I will not forget the single player aspect as well.
1 point per mission in a submitted battle
1 point per
free mission
2 points for participating in a MP event
3 points per match
won in a MP event
5 points per DFC or placing in the top 5 of a MAJOR
comp
1 point per fiction (minimum) It will all depend on the scale of
it...
I will tally up the scores and make them public to you on the last report of the month.
