My thanks to everyone that completed last months WC Comp! Thanks to you all, we had seven (7) submissions for it!
Due to the unfortunate actions of Pesk Vri'syk, Laryn Vri'syk, and Dev Fortuna, all three brothers in real life have been expelled from the EH! Let this serve as a reminder that cheating WILL not be tolerated by GA Ronin, LC Proton, or myself. If you cheat, you will be expelled from the EH!
SL Kain Joris was declared AWOL and transferred to the Reserves. We now need to fill this empty slot and bring Samekh back to full strength.
LCM RedTaz has been selected to be a TCS (beta tester) for the TAC Office. His responsibilities in this position include flying all new missions/battles to determine what bugs exist and need to be corrected. Congratulations LCM on joining this team and helping the EH!

Wing V NEWS
HEAVY ROCKET RUMBLE:
Competition Chairman: WC/LC Proton/Wing V/SSSD Sovereign

Pilots will engage in several competitions this month in an
event intended to generate a lot of fun for everyone in Wing V.
Each pilot may participate in any or all events. Medals will be
give in each catergory, and consideration also will be give to
an overall champion who does the best in multiple categories.
The contest begins on Feb. 1st, and ends on Feb. 28th. Pilots are
to send all entries to LC Proton at Hullbreach@aol.com. Make
sure to CC: your CMDR on your entries, as he may need to enlist
their assistance in gathering any last minute stray results at the
end of the month. The CMDR's will also need to see your entries
for activity tracking for their reports and to file appropriate
BSFs.
CATEGORIES:
1. Flight - Fly TC-TIE Battle #128, "Operation Yridia Alpha".
Laserless scoring is in effect. Winner will receive the Iron
Star - Bronze Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the Iron
Star - Copper Ribbon.
2. Mission Creation - Create a TIE, XvT, or XWA mission or
battle. Missions MUST in some fashion include these elements
in the plotline: Wing V and Heavy Rockets. Winner will receive
the Iron Star - Nickel Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive
the Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
3. Fiction - Write stories that include the elements of Wing V
and Heavy Rockets. Serious and humorous entries will be
accepted. All appropriate submissions will be collected and
included in the Wing V Chronicles. Winner will receive the
Iron Star - Nickel Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the
Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
4. Graphics - Wing V could use some new banners. We are primarily
a Heavy-Assault and Assault Wing, so pilots should create full-
size or link banner(s) featuring Wing V, and some form of
Heavy Rocket involvement. Be creative! Winner will receive the
Iron Star - Nickel Ribbon, and the runner-up will receive the
Iron Star - Copper Ribbon.
5. Invite a Cadet - The Wing V pilot who invites the most
involvement from the M/PLT Daedaleus Cadets as guests in this
contest may be recommended to receive the Medal of
Instruction. During your recruiting communications with the
Cadets, mention this competition to them, and invite them to
participate as a training bonus. Cadets are not eligible for
the main awards unless they become active members of Wing V
during the contest period. In this case their submissions will
be considered for the awards. In any case, this will be a
great experience for the Cadets and give them a real taste of
what active duty will be like!
6. Heavy-Rocket Rumble Champion - The overall winner will
receive the Palpatine Crescent for general excellence!

Just a few reminders from the Tactical Office regarding BSF's:
Players are allowed to skip 1 mission per battle. If gameplay errors would force you to skip 2 or more missions, stop playing the battle and inform the Tactical Office immediately. BSF's with more than 1 mission that has been skipped will be denied.
While sharing information about a battle is not prohibited, sharing your pilot files IS. If you are found to be sharing pilot files, you will find yourself (And the person you shared it with) brought up to the HCI for cheating.
CMDR's and above: If a pilot has skipped a mission in a battle, you MUST check the "No High Scores" box on the BSF form.
Audits: You have 1 (one) week to supply the requested Pilot file for an audit. If you do not within that time, the BSF will be automatically denied.
Questions concerning pilot files or the BSF system should be directed to Admiral StarLion.
