Tornado Squadron Briefing #1 (03.02.01)

Greetings, I'm sure most of you have heard the news of Colonel Kessler's departure...he is a great loss to Tornado squadron, and I look forward to the day he returns to active duty :-/

I myself have been appointed as Tornado CMDR in his wake, and I hope to keep the squadron running in great shape. Activity is something I demand from everyone, but only to their extent of every individual's abilities. I will always be here if you have a problems with performing your duties...I'm not going to bite your head off if you can't fly a battle or a mission for some reason, so long as a reasonable reason is given.

Fleet News
* Admiral StarLion has finally replaced Fleet Admiral Striker as the new Tactical Officer of the Emperor's Hammer. He has since taken on two CAs; Rear Admiral Arso Slyth (CA:TAC1), and Admiral Havoc (CA:TAC2).
* Rear Admiral Moreco has been appointed as the new IWCOM of the Infiltrator Wing...hopefully he will be able to help this ailing subgroup...
* Rear Admiral KDOG has been appointed as the new Morale Officer of the Emperor's Hammer!
* Grand Admiral Ronin has been interviewed by TIE Corps Battlecry Magazine, and the interview can be seen at http://www.emperorshammer.org/news.htm#news3
* EH Newsletter #71, the first newsletter from our new XO, HA Kawolski, should be released within the next few days...look forward to a treat!

* The new Commodore of the ISD Colossus has been name as former WC, RA Troutrooper...congrats! :)
* The Commodore of the ISD Vanguard has also changed...congratulations to the new COM, RA Ender mBind.

* The new Wing Commander of Wing XIV (ISD Intrepid) has been selected as Major Brakka, and the new WC of Wing XV (ISD Grey Vanguard) has also been selected as Major Khadgar. Congratulations to both of them.




Challenge News
* CMDR/COL Mell (Cyclone) has left the Challenge to join the Colossus in a bid to help it's falling numbers. The new CMDR of Cyclone has been chosen as former Inferno pilot, CM Corran Halcyon! Congratulations are in order for Halcolhol :)
* Various recoding, design and layout updates have occured at the Challenge website; http://www.isdchallenge.org




Tornado News
* FM/CPT Kou Taiki has left Tornado squadron to go to the Reserves...
* The new Tornado website has been uploaded at http://www.btinternet.com/~gehall/tornado
* As I am still settling into my new position, I would like everyone to email me with a little update of how they are doing (activity, availability over the coming month, etc.) so I can get an idea of squadron status. Once this has been ascertained, I can start new activities.




Competitions
* None currently running, although the Squadron League is due to resume soon, and the Tornado Supremacy Tour will be fired up very soon...watch this space!
