More activity from Sadhe this week, with more mission & battles being flown, and again Sadhe has increased it`s presence online with more multiplayer matches.

Also last week, i told you all i was going to announce a new squadron comp. well i need some help, the new comp will be multiplayer, but i need feeback from every one of you on which time best suit you for a Sadhe online Fragfest!

Why? this generous offering? Today marks my first full year as CMDR of Sadhe Squadron, 1 year ago i was given the honor of commanding the newly activated Sadhe Squadron, it was a chance to start afresh as a CMDR for me, and with a empty squadron a challenge awaited. It`s been one heck of a ride my friends, there`s been high & low`s, records broken, Sadhe grown pilots that have gone onto their own command and glory given to Wing V, this is just my way of saying thankyou to everyone who helped, you know who you are!!
See you all same time next year for the 2nd Sadhe drinking bash:)

Wing V February contest!
"Heavy-Rocket Rumble"
Pilots will engage in several competitions this month in an event intended to
generate a lot of fun for everyone in Wing V.
Each pilot may participate in any or all events. Medals will be given in each
category, and consideration also will be given to an overall champion who
does the best in multiple categories.
The contest begins on Feb. 1 and ends Feb. 28. Pilots are to send all entries
to me at Hullbreach@aol.com. Make sure to CC: your CMDR on your entries; I may
need to enlist their assistance in gathering stray results at the end of the
contest. They also will need to see your entries for activity-tracking
purposes and to file appropriate BSFs.
CATEGORIES
1. Flight. Fly TC Battle 128, "Operation Yridia Alpha." Laserless scoring in
effect. Winner: Iron Star-Bronze Ribbon. Runner-up: IS-Copper
Ribbon.
2. Mission creation. Create a TIE, XvT or XWA mission or battle. Missions
MUST in some fashion include these elements in the plotline: Wing V and heavy
rockets. Winner: Iron Star-Nickel Ribbon. Runnerup: IS-CR.
3. Fiction. Write stories that include the elements of Wing V and heavy
rockets. Serious and humorous entries will be accepted. All appropriate
submissions will be collected and included in the Wing V Chronicles. Winner:
Iron Star-Nickel Ribbon. Runnerup: IS-CR.
4. Graphics. Wing V could use some new banners. We are primarily a
heavy-assault and assault wing, so pilots should create full-size or link
banner(s) featuring Wing V, and some form of heavy-rocket involvement. Be
creative! Winner: Iron Star-Nickel Ribbon. Runnerup: CR.
5. Invite a cadet. The Wing V pilot who invites the most involvement from PLT
Daedalus cadets as guests in this contest may be recommended for a Medal of
Instruction. During your recruiting communications with cadets, mention this
competition to them -- invite them to participate as a training bonus. Cadets
are not eligible for the main awards unless they become active members of the
wing during the contest period; in these cases, their submissions will be
considred for awards. In any case, this will be great experience for the
cadets and give them a real taste of what active duty will bring. Note:
Pilots will receive credit for a cadet's involvement only if the cadet
includes the pilot's ID line with his submittals to me.
6. Heavy-Rockey Rumble Champion. The overall winner will receive a Palpatine
Crescent for general excellence.

Sadhe Yearly Comp
Yearly Comp. Scoring:
3 points for the pilots with the highest score for the weeks battle/mission.
2 points for 2nd highest.
1 point for 3rd highest.
1 point awarded for exceptional work on other areas such as webpage design or submitting fiction or just having a exceptional week of flying by earning lots of FCHG points.

We had a grand total of 1 entry for the past week`s battle (TC-XvT#2) Jason Hunter get the bonus point this week for earning the most FCHG points.
This weeks battle is again TC-XWA#5, pilot files to me by next Friday. Also again this week there will be a bonus one point for the pilot that earns the most FCHG points.

From LCM Dae Cam`s own activity report:
-tried GFX course, but it still isn't working for me (probally b/c no prof)
-working on TC-TIE 128
-was awarded some backlogged LoC's
-participated in ORW: 1 LoC
-participated in NC Cap Ship Night: 1 LoC (As a note, this is an EXCELLENT
competition for low-latency connections, but there were only 3 people there.
It surpasses your regular meelee, and allows you to fly in a combat
engagement with and against other players -some of whom can fly cap ships,
some of whom can fly fighter or bomber support for such)
-participated in Praetorian Comp: 1 LoC
-participated in Greenwich Wolf Comp: 1 LoC
-participated in ASF Competition(and seemingly introduced Captain Seinar to
MP in the TC, then sent him to the medlab for serious Bacta treatments): 2
LoC's
-Thus, my LoC is upgraded to a Platinum Scimitar and new Combat Rating is
Marksman 2nd.
-with these backlogged LoCs coming in, got quite a few FCHG points this week
(somewhere in 15-20, not exactly sure)
-started work on a Battle submission for the Heavy Rocket Rumble - however,
discovered the need to do a VERY large computer science project and was
forced to put it off, likely until it is too late to submit... though I will
eventually finish it some day and submit it to the TAC.
-Graphics work:
- found and tinkered with that patch to determine how to curve it.
- found out that the person who was helping me with GFX work on the
Flight II site went into the reserves. Thus, I'll have to delay the opening
of that for a while as well as likely scale parts down to be added at future
dates (it will still contain the pilot rooms)
- due to above, started working on some other graphics.
-Actively recruiting:
- Brought 1 friend into the TC, helped him train in MP somewhat so that
he could achieve flight cvertification, and now as soon as he hears from
IWATS he will join our squadron.
- Trying to speak to another cadet who had expressed a great interest in
Sadhe, but haven't heard form over the break (mabye gone for break). If he
is, and does come back, he will most likely join us also.
