CMDR's Dungeon
This is a new section I decided to add this section to post my comments, suggestions, and a day in the life of a CMDR.
SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW week. If we would have less inactivity we would be a group of turtles crossing the road. Look at our citation list, a big nice zero. With effort this squadron can obtain 20 easily. It has been about a week for me as CMDR of this squadron and I basically understand what is going on by now. To say the least it isn't as good as it gets and therefore I will take this opportunity to review what I expect from pilots of this squadron. This WILL be posted on the Squadron website and is MANDATORY reading.
TARTARUS SQUADRON STANDING ORDERS
Any and all pilots are here to have fun. This is the most important rule there is.
We are Squadron in the Imperial Star Destroyer Greywolf, a member of the ASF we are meant to fly Multiplayer
Flight Member is a position which most members of the Tie Corps hold. It is the rank of the members. I expect the activity from you at the least that which matches the Training Manuals description. Position Description: The Flight Member is a Trainee who has completed his or her training and has been assigned to a squadron for active duty. Flight Members are the primary activity base within the TIE Corps, participating in competitions, making submissions to the Newsletter, posting on message boards, talking with fellow members and other activities. In addition, Flight Members are encouraged to interact with their immediate superiors (Flight Leaders and/or Squadron Commanders) in regards to any questions or suggestions they may have. This is the least I expect from you. I would actually not consider it activity if you don't fly. Your here for that, I expect you to fly at very least once a week and that is only under extremely bad circumstances. I consider 3 battles a week minimum.
Flight Leaders, your dimes a dozens. You are flight leaders because I believe you are excellent role models for the members of this squadron. You show great activity mainly by flying. I expect Flight Leaders to fly 3 or more battles a week unless they have a very good excuse. "My dog ate my Tie Fighter" is NOT a good excuse. If you don't fly, you don't lead, simple enough. I am very strict when it comes to Flight Leaders, you better not think you don't have to fly because you are a Flight Leader because if you don't you wont be a Flight Leader for long, and that's a guarantee
If and when there are squadron competitions I expect 100% participation because it isn't impossible and it is a small squadron competition.
Awards Policy. You do not get awarded for flying an outburst one week out of the month for 3 months in a row. You do not get rewarded for just flying, you get awarded for your overall TC activity. Which means participation in fictional things such as the ASF Propaganda or sending in weekly fiction to the CMDR. And if this type of activity is held up at a steady rate then, and only then do you get awarded.
Promotion Policy. Dont even go there, promotions are for extreme activity over a great deal of time. I will make it clear you will have to earn your promotion 100% and I will be the judge of when you deserve it.
