Tornado Squadron Briefing - 21st August 1999




From now on squadron briefings will be out every Saturday, which means that
Flight Leaders Spaceboy and Badlands should be sending me their reports every
Friday now ;)


Fleet News
- The Imperial Senate sub group has now been officially formed! The Senate is
designed for those who wish to join the EH but do not have a game platform. As
with all SGs, you can still join if you're a member...so why not take a look?
- Thanks to the hard work of the Executive Officer (SA Compton) and the numerous
Members of the Fleet, Emperor's Hammer Newsletter No. 55 (5.78 megs) is herein
posted to the Fleet.
- Major Marc, previously WC of XV has been promoted to Rear Admiral and COM of
the ISD Immortal!
- The new Battle Board is now up at: http://narsissi.tky.hut.fi:81/dev/bb/. If
you have a high score, then send me your TFR and I'll handle it.





Wing News
- For his fine work while WC/COL Striker was on leave, Captain Corran Force has
been promoted to Major!
- Only days after COL Striker returned though, he was promoted to Command
Attache to the TAC Office, and the rank of Vice Admiral! MAJ Corran Force has
been appointed Wing Commander of Wing X! Congratulations CF!
- The Thunder CMDR position is open, and it looks as if CPT Kryder may get the
position...then again LCM Corran Halcyon may get it :P
- After MAJ Nightflyer was removed as Tempest CMDR, LCM Oldham, previously of
Typhoon, has been promoted CMDR/CM of Tempest.





Squadron News
- Commanders Rea and Steele have left Tornado squadron for Omega, and Captain
Javelin has also left to go back to Wing IV and command Lamed squadron. The
squadron, and the wing, loses 3 great pilots :(
- I was promoted to Captain by VA Striker before he left! :)
- As I mentioned in a separate email, many of you have yet to write INPRs for
yourselfs, and I will be awarding an ISM to the best INPR I get...start writing!
;)
- I know many of you older members have out of date TIE Corps Profiles, and I
have sent off another correction report to the OPS Office as AD Horn requested,
but so far no reply...I will keep trying to get them updated ;)
- We're still waiting for the SL awards...:P

Tornado Banner Competition
Create a new Tornado Banner for use on the site, ISM to win. Shockwave Flash
Banners will not be accepted as the Flight Office will not put them on the TIE
Corps Roster. I only have one sub so far...you can enter old artwork if you like
so long as you think it can be used as the new Tornado banner. Deadline - August
