Teth Report # 0 (2000-09-16)

This report was submitted by LC Mini Minkus

So I'll start with Me. During this last week, I have been promoted to the rank of Major. It was a more than pleasent suprise, and a fitting idication of how good you guys are, if you don't look good, I don't look good, simple. In that respect., there were 2 other VERY well deserved promotions. Lieutenant Badger, and Lieutenant Cochrane were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, thanks to their superb flying, their impressive consistancy, and most of all, the fact they can down a pint quicker than anyone I know. ;-) To top this all off, we were awarded with the Wing Commander's Own, the 4th time that Ric has read out the wrong Squadron's name at the award Ceremony, and another shiney trophey for us all to marvel at. Also, LCM Gavin Dahl was awarded the ISM today, for being an allround top geezer, and doing a nifty job as ACMDR, despite the fact we all buggered off on holiday :-)

A negative bit of news though, LCM Sean Axen was declared AWOL this morning. It seems, somewhat unfortuantely, that his expedition to find new spices to put in the Teth Squadron Beer hasn't been a success, and we've lost him. On the positive side, our New SL finally managed to make contact with this week! After his induction to the Squadron, where he was forced to drink 37 consecutive pints of the Teth Squadron beer, he went into a coma... however, he woke up this week, and managed to get a sentance out to Major Mini Minkus, before Doctors sedated him, not sure if the drink hadn't mutated him in anyway. They reckon he'll be sober enough to return to duty sometime on Tuesday. Providing no-one does the old "swap the I-V line for a pump connected to the distiallry" trick.. which tragecially meant SL Phrampton Hugh was permantely drunk, and discharged from duty.

Competitions! yes, There are.. errm... Hang on... I know this one.... 4 Going On! The most important is the September Sov Comp! Now, you're all doing a fine job (once Minkus does the BSFs... *ahem*) and I'm sure we can get Ric that SS (don't worry, it'll promptly be stolen so we can have it :-) ) But there are some more going on as well!

The Squadron League! Round 13 ended... sometime around today/yesterday.. and guess what... 7 submissions, again :-) General Ricardo was flooded by 6 submissions arrving from Teth Squadron over the last day, because, as per usual, it took us 2 weeks to remember how to turn the simulators on.

Teth v The Rat-Pack! Yes, Teth Squadron, or The Badger Pack, v the (in)famous Rat-Pack, a chance for you all to show the most important people on the Sov (besides the Bartender) just how good you all are. Free-TIE #130, must be sent on.... I meant by September 30th to Me, and GN Ricardo. All Badger Pack members msut remeber to blatently ignore everything Kessler says, and be as disrepectful as you can to ALL Rat-Pack members... at least I think that's right

Teth V Sword! Yes, The auld enemy has challenged us once again, to a competiton. FREE-TIE #78 is going to be flown, over a 2 week period. Details are yet to be fully worked out, but it is enough to say, we're going smack their arses good and proper this time.

Teth Flight 3 Has a NEW Motto! Yes! In replaced of the crap one I made up 9 Months ago, LCM Badger has decided to call the Best Flight in Teth Squadron, The Badger Pack, and their motto is "Death From Above, Below and all round" Quite apt I believe.

There's bound to be some more news I've forgotten (there always is) But the final piece of news I have is that the new TAC, the 3rd in Command, of the EH, is none other than Teth Old-Boy, AD Striker! He was in Teth Flight 3 as the Flight Leader (Ya! Badger Pack! Teth Flight 3!) and is hereby official "The Coolest person Ever from Teth Squadron" Claims that Tornado Squadron made him are to be consider treason, and reported to Major Mini Minkus immediately
