Yes, unfortunately, I am back, and your going to have to put up with me as your CMDR again, to all, I apologise ;-)

Now, refreshed from my little 2 week break, if somewhat a little tired, it appears something very nasty has happened, whilst half the Squadron was on leave, the other half seems to have vanished without a trace. I haven't had any report from Gavin about his time as ACMDR, but there weren't any tfr's CCed to me, or sent to Gavin, what is up people? Before I left, it seemed things were going very nicely, we'd overtaken Yod in SL2k, etc. etc. However activity seems to have taken a nosedive since then. I am aware of 1 member who is on a rather prolonged leave, and one who was on leave into the start of my leave, however there were still 2 other people who could have done something, this is not a good sign. As far as I am aware, the Tag-Team Competition ends today, and we have 0, yes 0, entries. Now, we COULD tie with Kaph in 1st place, and force a playoff with them. However, to do that, we need maximum points, that means, Teth/Lamed must win, we must get the highest average. Now, with 0 entries, this isn't going to happen. There are 4 people with good reason for not submitting, one of whom is myself, however, there are 4 other people who could have submitted, and have not, please, by all means prove me wrong, make me a very happy man, and send in tfr's, and if you have, I apologise, I have around 700 e-mails to wade through, and I may have missed it. It's FREE-TIE #12, which is attached. So Fly it :-)

The other competition I wish to bring to your attention, is rather obviously, Squadron League 2000. After CR#10 we moved ahead of Yod, by some 2 million points. Well done guys, but we're not going to stop there are we? As you should have recieved, whenever it was Major Reaper sent them out, the standings for Combat Run 8. We're in 18th Place, 2 behind Yod as that stands, now, there are 10 more Combat Runs ahead, if we're 18th after 8, with our massive jump in round 10, if we ALL submit, for EVERY remaining round, there is no reason why we shouldn't hope to achieve a top ten placing, if not a playoff spot, it is well within our grasp, so lets prove that we are the best, ok guys?

Now, if there were any justice in the world, the weeks preceeding me going on leave, you should have had me hung, drawn and quatered ;-) Because, as a CMDR, I was diabolical. However bewteen no and September, I have nothing to do. No working to get money to pay for the holiday, no school assignments (though in 3 weeks I might get a tad panicy when my exam results come out, but that's not the point) So, you will be my target of attention. I have said it before, however this time I mean it. When I checked the Database today, we have 36 Squadron Citations. Before The end of August, I would like to see us get to 50. IF we all work hard, and Together, then we can easily do that, and in addition to that, I am introducing a little scheme to encourage you all to be incrediably active (which, you should all want to be of course) Each Month, I will review all the work the each pilot has done, and award the pilot who has best served the Squadron in the month, the title of Teth's Pilot of the Month. Of Course, this doesn't mean I'll reccomend you automatically for Wing IV's pilot of the month, that belongs to the pilot who has best served the Wing, and you may recieve no medals, except for adding Teth's Pilot of the Month to your ID Line. So you have multiple targets to aim for when you go into each month, you can try and be the best pilot in the Squadron, or the best in the Wing, or you can try and do both, which is more likely to result in a more general reward, however, in the end, it is up to you how active you want to be, but from this point on, I would like to see at least 1 Free Mission every week, or a Battle every 2 Weeks. Quite Simple. We've worked hard to show we're one of the best, so let's try and work harder to keep ourselves there.

Some other news for you. After the collapse of the Teth/Kaph/Yod v Preatorian Competition, whilst shifting through my inbox, one of the mails suggested a Teth v Praetorian Competition, now, I don't know about you, but I would love to add to our growing collections of Squadron Competition wins, especially against an elite Squadron, again :-) I'll let you know if anything is finalised.

Another source of activity for you if you don't have the time to fly, is add to the Wing run-on that's going on. I am less than pleased that Teth have been captured by some Furry Ewoks, so if you have even the tiniest creative bone in your body, add to it!

This concludes the weekly report, though it was less of a report, and more of a wake up call for both myself, and for you, I pushed you hard to get to the top, and now I realise I'm going to have to push you harder to stay there it seems :-) So shall we get those missions done?
