I don't think I really need to say what the big news of this week is, do I? The Squadron League Playoff Quater Finals are finally here, and we have to fly FREE-TIE #127 by this Sunday, with tfr's going to both me, and GN Ricardo. Now, I've let you have the last month off, to all intents and purposes, but not anymore, people. I want us to hit full submissions here. I want us to show our intentions early, and end the Quater Finals as the Squadron who qualifed in first place, and do it again in the Semi Finals, and do it again in the Final, and win the whole thing :-) I know we can win this, as long as we all do the best we can. If we do, and we don't win, no problem, but we should. So let's go and win this damn competition, like we've been promising ourselves.... and if we do win, the celebration party will go on for at least 3 months >:P

Other news, apart from the Squadron League (Get Flying!) is that the Wing IV Swat the Flies competition came to end... I must say, I was disapointed with particaption from Teth, with only myself, LCM's Badger & Cochrane, and LT Liz actually flying for, with Badger and myself claiming the top two spots. However, to be fair, I didn't push the competition as much as I usually do with these sorts of things, but it still doesn't look good. However, Wing IV should be having a Wing v Wing competition, pretty soon, if some information that I have is correct :-) And this is where I'm going to expect service as normal.

Also, BSFs... I WILL get around to the few I haven't had time to do, I'm sorry that I haven't done them, but I've had some other things that have been taking up my time, but don't panic, they will get done, and we will get some more Citations soon... but in the meantime, keep on flying.

That's really it... there isn't much apart from the Squadron League as far as I'm concearned from here to the end of the Year. It's what we've worked for over the last 6 months, and it's all in the palm of our hand, we can take if we want to, the only question I have, is do you want to? :-)

One final thing, which I forgot to mention last week, is that CM Gavin Dahl has come up with a cool new Motto for Flight 2. "Teth Before Dishonour" I think that can be aptly used over the next 4 weeks... ;-)
