Beth Squadron Report # 16 - November 30th, 1999

Introduction

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving holiday. I
was terribly busy over the break, and thus this report
only gets to you now :P I still need more pilot
files! Get them in before tomorrow! :)


Squadron News
-----------------------------------------------------------------
- SL Ant Starlight and LT Drake Du'Drow have gone
AWOL. Beth 1-2 and 1-3 are vacant once more.

- LT Var Zoraan took 3rd place and earned himself an
ISM in last week's XWA Zone Tournament.

- Get your Wing III vs. Immortal pilot files in
immediately!


Wing News

- LT Darios A'latir has resigned due to RL.

- SL KDOG has joined Wing III Daleth Squadron.

- Aleth vs. Beth comp has ended. First place LCM
Sequoh Marden and he got a PC , second place goes to
CPT Azael, who gets an ISM. Whole results will be
sent soon to all Aleth and Beth pilots.

- SL Egg`Foo has been promoted to the rank of LT.

- LT Daniel Kamprath has been promoted to FL of Flight
III Daleth Squadron.

- SL Wolf has joined Wing III Aleth Squadron.

- SL Egg'Foo has joined Wing III Daleth Squadron.

- SL Van has been promoted to the rank of LT.

- LCM Sendar Kala has been chosen as the new Daleth
Commander and recieves a promotion to the rank of CM
with the appointment.

- CMs Azazel and DemonYoda have been promoted to the
rank of Captain

- EH vs RS Melee Night Results - 11/27/99 - RS Victory
- EH-12 | RS- 14| TIE -3

- Colonel Kaerner, commanding officer of the Elite
Dark Brotherhood's Tau Squadron, was today promoted to
the rank of General at the request of CA:XO/Admiral
Tron and with the approval and congratulations of the
Acting Fleet Comander - Sector Admiral Compton.
General Kaerner's dedication to the Fleet in general
and Tau Squadron in particular, and his reputation as
an officer is beyond question. His promotion serves as
an example to us all.

- The Emperor's Hammer is finally getting involved
with the Zone. In an effort to make us more well
known we would like to invite everyone to Week of War
for XWA. On the 26th of November, WoW War starts on
the Zone at 2:00 PM EST. It is a 7 day fight on the
Zone, The team with the most points wins. It will be
fought in the XWA "Melee Skirmishes" room on the Zone.
The WoW is run by Battlestats that provides a great
resource for keeping track of the battle fought. For
the next 7 days WoW will be going on. To join the fun
go to www.battlestats.com and under Player Services
click add. There you will be able to add yourself to
the Emperor's Hammer's team.

- Vice Admiral Ricaud has chosen the new Commodore of
the ISD Colossus. Rear Admiral Nighthawk, formerly of
Typhoon Squadron - the Battlegroup Commander's Escort,
assumes the duties and responsibilities of the newest
Commodore in the TIE Fighter Corps. Congratulations,
Rear Admiral!

- Rear Admiral Jarak Maldon, former Wing Commander of
Wing IX, has been selected by Vice Admiral Ricaud to
assume the position of the new Commodore of the ISD
Relentless. Congratulations, Rear Admiral. Serve your
ship well.

- Troy Dangerfield released AlliED v1.06 today for
registered users. Included is an X-Wing to X-Wing
Alliance mission converter along with a couple bug
fixes, improvements, and extra mission settings. More
details can be found at the AlliED homepage at
http://homepages.picknowl.com.au/troyd/.

- Colonel StarLion has been named the new Tactical
Assistant for the Tactical Office. His primary duty
will be to award merit medals and battle medals to the
Beta Testers.

- Following the promotion of Admiral Kessler to Flight
Officer and TIE Corps Commander, the position of BGCOM
has been filled by Rear Admiral Val Ricaud. The
position comes with a promotion to Vice Admiral for
the former Commodore of the ISD Relentless. All
applications for the Relentless Commodore position
should be sent to Vice Admiral Val Ricaud.

- Acting Fleet Commander Sector Admiral Compton has
announced that the new Flight Officer and TIE Corps
Commander for the Emperor's Hammer is Admiral Kessler,
former Battlegroup Commander of the TC Battlegroups!

- TIE Corps membership stands at 935.

- Guess what time it is? That's right, it's that time
of month again for Newsletter Submissions, and you
only have ONE week to get them in before the deadline,
November 30th. We will not accept any submissions for
this Newsletter (#59) after November 30th. Any
received after that will be put in #60. Once again,
send all NL Submissions, with "NL 59 Submission" being
the Subject header of your e-mail, to Sector Admiral
Compton and Admiral Tron. If you have any questions
feel free to ask, but put "NL question" as your
e-mail's Subject header.
