Beth Squadron Report #26 - July 30th, 2000

Introduction
--------------------------------------------
Greetings everybody! Yes another week has passed and it was definately a good one for Beth! Not only have we won the fifth combat run in the XWA League - it also looks like we'll be able to get first place (or at least we'll give Ranger Squad. some serious competition!). After only three days 60% of the squad had already flown the mission!! Very well done! Keep that up! :))


Squadron News and Activity

- There was a meeting, but because of some odd RL issues Var and me weren't able to show up... Any log would be nice... :)
- Beth Squadron (we! we!) won CR#5 of the XWA League!!! Very well done everyone!
- We already have a good participation for CR#6 - 6 people flew so far and our current total is about 40000 points!
- MAJ Marden (me) and his computer will be on short leave from tomorrow (31st) evening until the 4th.
- Werdna, Cal, Cray, Loor, Shield and Seq flew FREE-XWA #14 for the XWA League
- LT Loor made some nice new Wing Comander's Own wings. Good work!
- Cray completely redesigned the Beth homepage and the W3UA (Wing III uniform archive)
- We got our three citations back! We now have citations in TC-XWA #1 and #3 and IW-XWA #22 again! :)
- Werdna flew TC-XWA #7
- Var flew TC-XWA #6
- LCM Seth Rommel has left us to become FL in Hey! Good luck! :)
- LTs Yodabot and Mandeep, you both have only 5 days left to contact me!

Fleet News

- DGN Lichtor V Commodore Rear Admiral Weasel has been selected to be the new Tactical Head Coordinator for the Tactical Staff.

- The next issue of Battlecry will be released soon!

- Members of the tactical staff can now finally add something to their ID lines ;)
Tactical Head Coordinator (TCHC) - Handles beta testing and correction assignments and other orders handed down by the TAC or CA:TAC to the appropriate Tactical Coordinator, awards medals and BSFs to appropriate members of the Tactical Staff that has earned them

Tactical Coordinator (TCC:TIE/XvT/XWA) - Handles correction assignments for a specific platform (TIE, XvT+BoP, XWA) and manages the Tacticians under them, in charge of playtesting the corrected battles prior to making the final submission to the Tactical Officer for approval

Tactician (TCT) - Makes battle corrections and bug fixes, reports to the appropriate Tactical Coordinator

Tactical Surveyor (TCS) - A beta tester who finds the bug fixes, reports to the Tactical Head Coordinator with reports

- Fly for the Wing III top gun contest! No one from Beth (including me) has flown for it yet!

- Attend to the Beth/Wing III meetings - lots of fun! :)
- Fly some battles, especially XWA-1, XWA-3 or IW-22 to strenghen our citations! :)
- Participate in multiplayer events
