Beth Squadron Report #22 - July 3rd, 2000

Introduction
--------------------------------------------
Well, not too much has been happening lately.... our participation for XWA League CR#4 has been not more than average and everything is a little quiet - too quiet. What are all you guys doing? What about Black Hawk? If anyone thinks something should be changed - feel free to ask me about it! I've been talking with some of you very much while I got nearly no response from some others, so what's going on?


Squadron News and Activity

- SL Jyris Felth has been promoted to LT! Congrats! :)
- Werdna, Jyris and Shield attended to the Wing III meeting, Var and me showed up much too late
- My computer and me returned from a two day leave to Var yesterday
- Black Hawk orders for turn 3 are due yesterday! - Evaluations to be sent out today.
- XWA League CR#4 submissions:

Looks like I can keep my ISMs :) - 35000 is definately not a bad score but I'm absolutely sure we could have done better.... (and Ranger and Daleth have done better...

- LCM Cal and LT Loor are still on leave
- Cray flew TC-XWA #7 and IW-XWA #24 (with highscore!)
- CPT Werdna steps down as Flight Leader and will be reassigned to 2-4 soon
- That means we have a open FL position! If you think you got what it takes to be FL in Beth (you know these cleaning duties...) semd a nice application to me :o)
- LT Yodabot and LT Mandeep are out of contact - please mail me!!!

- This month's Wing III top gun comp. started! Fly the attatched brand new XWA free mission untill July 31st and show the rest of Wing III how good you are! (of course you should also participate if you're not getting good scores! ;)

Fleet News

- FO/AD Nighthawk had to retire from his position due to real life problems - HA Kawolski is acting FO untill a replacement is found...
- TC-XWA #7 : "Assault on Chimera" has been released to the fleet
- Big multiplayer compeition annoucend by COO Havoc:
Next Saturday, July 7th, beginning at 9 PM EST, ending on Monday, July 10th at 5 am EST the EH will face the United Pilots Alliance (UPA) in a fierce XVT/XWA competition dubbed the Battle of the Titans! The UPA is expecting around 105 of it's finest pilots to meet us in battle! COO Havoc is calling on all multiplayer pilots and is offering the following awards for *EACH* platform (meaning there will be 2 winners in the EH):

1st Place: Bronze Star and a Distinguished Flying Cross
2nd Place: Palpatine Crescent
3rd Place: Imperial Security Medal

In addition, COO Havoc is going to *Double* the Legion of Combat medals earned! Meaning if you get 10 wins you get 20 LoCs!

The Battle will take place on the MSN Gaming Zone, using the Imperial Outpost for XvT and the Melee Skirmishes room for XWA and reporting will be done using Battlestats, the same process used for the WoW games.
