Koph Report # 23 (2001-02-07)

This report was submitted by LC Firebird

Pilots of Koph Squadron and distinguished guests:

Ok folks, like I promised last week, here is a squadron report that is on time :)

I have some bad news this week. This is something I have only
had to do once before, and it's no easier this time than it was the
last time.

The bad news is that I'm leaving Koph Squadron. I've been a CMDR for
four years, and a change of pace is long overdue. I have recommended
LC Mezynski for CMDR, and am positive he will do an excellent job.

It's been a hell of a ride, and I can honestly say that Koph is by far
the best of the three squadrons I have commanded. This is the first
squadron I have had to work to keep up with, instead of the other way
around, and that's wonderful. I know Iceman will keep the momentum up
and keep things running smoothly.

Now, you're not quite rid of me yet. No transfer has taken place and
I'm not even sure where in the Naval Corps I will end up. Until I do
know, I'll be right here submitting your BSFs and maintaining the
mailing lists as usual. I just thought in the sake of fairness I would
give everyone some advance warning.

Thank you all.
