SQUADRON NEWS
----------------------------------

- I was awarded a CoL on the Emperor's Hammer
Anniversary awards.

- LC Badlands accepted our scores for the XWA league
CR#1 and the final scores looked like this

1. LT Josh Popelka - 5,399
2. LT Dan Jenkins - 4,435
3. CM Osan'gar - 3,645

Total so far = 13,419

LT Josh receives a Golden TIE for getting the highest
score in CR#1. This puts him on three TIEs, needing
only two more to get a Golden Missile Boat and its
appropriate award.

- CR#2 has started but no-one has flown for it yet.
Please could everyone fly FXWA 17 by the 1st Febraury.
Remember that there is a PC for the highest scorer in
the Fleet and also a Golden TIE for the highest scorer
in Hey squadron.

- There has been a Wing III flying comp announced, so
if you want to earn yourself a IS-CR fly FXWA 21 by
the 31st January. As I'm feeling generous, there will
also be a Golden TIE on offer here too.

- I passed the IWATS course - mIRC/2.

- I have just submitted a roster change on the TC.org
site to change our message board back to our old MB on
the TC.org domain. The new (old?) URL is here

- The Wing III meeting time will be changed very soon,
but for tonight, I believe that the meeting is as
normal in #wing_iii at 6pm GMT.

TCCOM Award and given the January, 2001 presentation

Center with an article on Star Wars Gamer, the
Operations Officer's CoL awards, and Outer Rim Night

New Tactical Officer

With the resignation of Fleet Admiral Striker, the
fleet's new Tactical Officer is now officially Admiral
StarLion.


New IS in effect

The new Iron Star system is now officially in effect.
The Training Manual has been updated with the new
description and medal image. Competitions submitted
for approval must now meet the new guidelines laid
out. The TIE Corps and Naval Corps have been mailed.

The Yorkie Bar - tasty chocolate or fearsome weapon.
Following recent suggestions on IRC that all police
officers should carry Yorkies instead of guns or
batons. What do YOU think.

Could you see a Dark Jedi whipping out a Yorkie when
about to do battle?

Imagine how different Epispde 1 would have been if
Darth Maul had carried a Yorkie instead of a
Lightsaber :P
