Things are moving waaay fast, and Roasty is still happy about the way they do ;)
And having 9 people to pick on and annoy is a reward that is higher than what I expected :p
But besides of that, now we have the chance of taking the last step in our journey towards utmost excellence. Now, picture what we did being 5 or 6 pilots and add 4 more young and thirsty of glory officers. There's not another way. Kappa will rule as it always did, but now with even more people ;)
(No doubt about it, Roasty loves big words :p)

Squadron News
-----------------------

-Obviously the big news around here is the roster arrivals. From 6 pilots on the last report, now we're at 10. Yeap, two figures. Welcome back LT Reb Crush after a short period on the Reserves, and yes, we didn't touch your stash of Corellian Whisky (sort of :p). Also welcome LT Steffen - Daniel Dunkat (LT Dunkat, to abreviate), also from the Reserves, seeking a new starting point for his military career. And by CM Algaron invitation, let's welcome LCM Tim and LT Max Danzig (with his big hairy sidebrows :p) both former Zetans and Alg squadmates. The least one can say is "yay!" :p

-Congratulations go to CM Algaron Xerves on his A-CMDR period, and on his recruiting. Algaron, next round is on me. ;)

-The Kappa Holiday Comp ends tomorrow! We had a lot of interesting submissions, and the outcoming ISM will be awarded as soon as I start judging in the various caategories and stacking up the points. If you have last minute submissions in any category, better send them right now. I won't take late ones.

-Your furry legged CMDR has been appointed as the new Wing II Doctor, and LCM Jan Wemmel has been appointed Wing II's nurse. And as you can see, he's also furry-legged, but you can notice it better due to his new mini-skirt nursing uniform. And this means that you now have the option of changing your sewer cleaning turns for voluntary medical testing subject turns. Ahh, gotta love this job :p

-The Kappa homepage has been updated several times now, and I've started working on your uniforms. I need my sight relieved from this group of four newcomers wearing bed sheets (in the best case)

-LT Reb Crush has submitted reviews for the Ship Encyclopaedia. Nicely done!!

-This week's Ol' Roasty's words o' advice: "Never, never, never, never try to leave your sedentary style of life and fill your sport quota for a year in one day. You might end up feeling the most inconveniant muscles of your body at the same time. How does Roasty know this?...well, the hole in the computer chair's cushion, digged by years of sitting on it, is pretty much the graphic answer"

Squadron Orders

-The Kappa Holiday seasons ends today!!! Fly TC-TIE 126 for the flying section, write some fun stuff for the fiction section, get something from the net mixing Star Wars and the Holidays, recruit someone into the squad, gather points and get the ISM!!!

-Submit your inputs for the Encyclopaedia and the Cadet Guide to CM Algaron.

-The Squeaker Hunt comp is on till the end of this month! Help Akela and Melvin find Private Squeaker, so our WC's torturing and special-ops elite cute-animal squadron is complete again! The divisions are in detail:

1. Flying division 1: fly TC-TIE Battle #107, Farewell to Old Friend, laserless (attached)

2. Flying division II: fly an assigned TIE-FREE Mission within the 24 hours
since its announcement.

3. MB Tracking division: seek through the EH-related message boards and see if you can find the post. Reply if you do within the 24 hours of the post.

4. Graphic division: submit a sattellite photo of Squeaker's current location (of course you have to make a graphic, unless you own a personal geostationary satellite :p)
5. Fiction division: write a story about Squeaker's 'odd'isey and his return.
Rivers of medals are in stake. Take part and see if you find the Ratterian.

Also, there are a lot of great submissions this
month (which explains the large file-size). Off
the top of my head, there is a history of the EH
by VA Jarak, a Flash animation by CM Tack and RA
Moreco, the next parts of "Old Friends" by CPT
Werdna Elbee and "Sword Squadron" by LCM Badlan,
as well as many other marvelous pieces of work.

-Career Histories


The Logistics Office is now starting a new project
to collect the personal histories of TIE Corps and
Emperor's Hammer members. The LO would like all EH
members who wish to submit their personal
histories for posting on a database shortly to
email their career portfolios/stories to
EHStories@egroups.com with your name and rank in
the Subject. A template will be released shortly
to help you compile your careers and if you need
any assistance what so ever please email Rear
Admiral Ramos Kanzco for more information.

- FMC Celebrates first anniversary


The Fleet Medical Corps is now one year old. Last
year, on the eleventh of January, the MedCorps was
founded with the activation of the medcorps
egroup. What once was an interesting project has
become a 44-people pseudo-subgroup wich is now
celebrating its anniversary!

- Outer Rim Changes Servers!

Outer Rim for now will be on Innernet. It will
still be in #outerrim, and here are Servers to

- XO gets a rank bump


As posted on www.kawolski.com: Looks like my
previous rank as Sector Admiral was only an
honorary one! Grand Admiral Ronin has informed me
that I'm now back to being a High Admiral (what I
was before I left the TAC position). If I do well
in my position, within a month's time, I may be
promoted to a full Sector Admiral.


- Cadets and Flight Certifcation


Cadets! If you've completed the Flight
Requirements, log in and go to the Flight
Certification page. You can upload your completed
pilot file and be instantly certified and complete
that portion of your training!


- Logistics Office needs your help

Now that New Years has passed by and the fact we
are a week into the year 2001, the Logistics
Office has come back from the dead and several
setbacks to bring to you many new projects. The
biggest of which is to be announced later in the
week. Moving on, The LO needs your help in
gathering fiction, graphics, old rosters, INPRs,
Personal Histories, Ship Histories, Subgroup
Histories, Monumental EH desicions, Wing
Histories, Squadron Histories, Histories of CS
officers, old Subgroup manuals, old subgroup
webpages, old subgroup commander histories, and
anything else you think can be essential or non
essential in helping the Logistics Office in
archiving the history of the EH. Eventually after
we collect all this data it will be submitted to
the Training Office for placement in the EH
Encyclopedia(being compiled by HA Astatine).
Here are a list of email addresses you can submit

- XO/SA Compton resigns, FSE/SA Kawolski new XO

With today marking his two-year anniversary of
holding the position of Executive Officer, Sector
Admiral Compton has announced his resignation and
is stepping down from his position.

Sector Admiral Kawolski has also officially been
named the new Executive Officer today! You can see
the new XO Homepage, along with the rest of
Compton's letter, at: http://www.kawolski.com

A Command Attaché (CA:XO) has already been
selected: Vice Admiral Slade, who has previously
served as CA:TAC and COM of the DGN Lichtor V and
has been instrumental in creating many of the
graphics and banners you see throughout the fleet,
the tiecorps.org layout graphics, and the new XO
site graphics.
