This is my first shot at an official Squadron Report so cut me a little slack my
ISP decided to shut off for an hour so it's a bit late.

FLEET NEWS



TIE Corps
TC Membership has now grown to over 1000 pilots. Now if only Daedalus actually
let some people out!

Flight Office Report #36 released
High Admiral Kawolski has released Flight Office Report #36 to the Fleet.

New ISD Grey Wolf Commodore
Congratulations to the new Commodore of the ISD Grey Wolf, Rear Admiral Bilbo! I
have confidence that he will be a great COM

Squadron Management
ALL IWATS Squadron Management course graduates have been posted at:

No new tests are being accepted by High Admiral Kawolski. The course will reopen
once revisions have been completed and a new professor for the course is
assigned.
New Mission Compendium
You can access the new Official Mission Compendium at:

While it has links to free missions on the new compendium, at the time of this
news post, high scores have not been posted, and no XvT or XWA missions,
skirmishes, or battles have been made available.
News Letter Submissions
You can submit any SW related item to Sector Admiral Compton and CC to , Vice
Admiral Tron. The final date that you can submit to the Newsletter is the last
day of the month. Things to send in are any additions to games like RebEd cards
JK skins or just the usual Fiction and Graphics. Those INPRs that people have
yet to do can also be submitted and can get you a LoA.

Course Writers and Administrators Needed!

With the leaving of High Admiral Kawolski, as well as numerous other events,
several opportunities have opened with IWATS. These include the administration
of the Squadron Management course and the RPG course. In addition, submissions
for new courses are being taken. Specifics of these openings and such are listed
below:

Open Positions
* Professor, Squadron Management
* Professor, RPG Stats
* Professor, ICQ (pending investigation)

To apply, e-mail your resume with relavent experience to the Training Officer,
Fleet Admiral Astatine. A list of references should be included.

New Courses It's preferable that new courses be based around EH gaming
platforms, either in the form of tactics courses (to help people play better) or
in the form of more technically oriented courses (ie. editing, level making,
etc). However, courses based upon programs (such as ICQ) or activities (like web
page design) commonly used by members will also be considered.

Submissions for new courses should be made to Fleet Admiral Astatine, and should
include details such as the aim of the course, estimated length and how it will
be assessed (multiple choice tests, practical work, etc).
TO Competition #2 commences
The second Training Office competition is now up and running. It features three
sections - a TIE Battle, an XWA Battle and a fiction competition. Members can
participate in as many or as few sections as they want. Full details are
available at the TO site (http://to.dotau.net/). In addition, a "mini-comp" is
also running, to take suggestions for a new medal name to be awarded for
participating on TO comps. Details for this are also available at the TO site.

WC Striker
Our great wing commander is still on leave but our great temp-WC Corran Force is
doing a good job himself.


SQUADRON NEWS




Incoming
NiksaVel is back after having Tie problems.Now he's here and I hope already in
gear for the SL.
Also we have CPT Javelin with us now. He was a commander of his own squadron but
now joins us in our fight for the SL win.

Animation
Due to my love of Star Wars and an ability to animate (a bit) I have started to
make a set of animated stories. I got the idea from looking at Black Horse's
Crimson Empire issue #0.

BGCOM Banner Comp
Kessler mentioned a possible Battle Group Banner comp soon, so after all of the
flying you could start toying with your paint programs. I'm sure in his new
position he will be giving out some worthy prizes.
