Fury Report # 10 (2009-05-03)

This report was submitted by CMDR-TCS/CM RichyV/Fury/Wing XIX/ISDII Subjugator

Fury WSR #10
Pilots of Fury.

With a barely-active Squadron with a compliment of 11 only in number the Commander was not happy, but for once no-one would be looking at the individual Pilots, Squads or Wings because the TC as a whole needed to be scrutinized, action needed to be taken now, before it was too late, before there was no TC...

"Gentlemen, unsurprisingly I have to report another 2 in-Squadron Competitions have lapsed without a SINGLE entry. An air of dis-interest has now permeated each and every one of us. We are supposed to be beginning a 'Raise the Flag' TC-wide Competition from tomorrow - but even this seems to be in doubt as no further info has been forthcoming. I'm sure we all hope that the Admiralty, who have been conspicuous by their absence, can once again prevail and lead us from the front as they are bound to do. I genuinely hope that this is not my last WSR..."

Where we are at and what we are doing...

8-days since my last Sqn Report and I have only heard from the following Squadron Pilots:-

COL TK-7764
LC Quincy Nelson
LCM Alexandr III Biges

Hooray, yes - we hit 3! Could it be 4 next week..?

Standing Orders:
  • Participate in some competition listed below, preferably either of ours ;)
  • Make it your goal to have some activity that I can report next week.
  • Get hold of TTT2 and upload your Uniform to the TC DB - I'd like to see more Fury Pilots represented, as many of you hold Ranks & Awards to be proud of!
  • Every week I expect every Pilot to REPORT IN, Though there are currently no AWOL's being processed, please don't let that breed complacency..

In Closing:

Feel free to check-out Version 2 of our Fury Squadron website that LC Quincy Nelson has been working on, HERE and let either he or I know of any additions that you'd like to see. My thanks go to the Lieutenant Colonel who started this project of his own volition. Also, get involved in your Squadron's activities, please!

Several other Squads are beginning to record activity and many individuals are flying again as can be attested to by the Pilot Kill Board. Fury has many talented individuals in it's ranks - let's make it a great Squadron once more!

As I've mentioned before - ALL of you are expected to contact me each week with your intended activity or reasons for inactivity. This seems to be filtering through as I am getting more communications from you, thank you - but we also need to see more flying.

Without a WC or any Admiralty to speak of we find ourselves in a miserable position. How can I chastise any non-active pilots when the whole of the TC is inactive!?

Alas I am still awaiting to hear from our WC, MAJ Miles Prower, and eventhough I am flying I have no-one to send my BSF's off to. It seems that the RtF Competition which was supposed to start tomorrow has 'disappeared' and the discussion on the MB's about the future of the TC and EH as a whole shows a worrying trend.

On a lighter note, we shall see what tomorrow brings, after which I am away, holidaying in Spain until May 16th - although I shall still be able to check my emails and get onto the internet at sporadic intervals, so if the RtF does indeed appear, I can process BSF's, although there will be no Sqn Report next week - and I'm going to guess that I won't miss very much...

You are dismissed.

Respectfully submitted.

CM RichyV. Commander of Fury Squadron.
