Commander's Thoughts
-Greetings Horneteers, Time for the Hornet Report one more time. Well ive been here a month and a lot of changes have taken place, for the good I think. As all of you have probably noticed I have made revisions to the roster that I believe will make us more efficient. We now have many competitions running which are listed in the Imperial Academy Comp Listings, but I will list the standings for each below. We really need to make an all out effort this month so Hornet can place high in the standings. Well that's about it for now more information below..GO Hornet!!!

Squadron News:
-LCM Darwin Matir requested to be sent to the reserves pending RL problems and just generally to much going on. He said he will return when he can…hurry back Matir.
-LT Slasher D was Awoled due to lack of contact…please don't let this happen to you.
-Welcome our newest member LCM Drake Jensen, he is a welcome addition to our ranks, stop by the Tigers Den and buy him a cold one the next time your in.
- Our competitions(see above for current standings) has begun. There are lots of medals up for grabs so lets get to it.
-Squadron nicknames, mottos, and Message Board Colors still up for discussion as of yet I have received one email regarding ideas or suggestions so if you guys don't want to help me out ill just make something up myself and you all know how twisted my ideas are so come on with suggestions.
-We now have 45 citations so keep it up..oh by the way that's the most on the Vanguard…YEAH!!!!
-We really need to get some recruits for our squadron as they count for major points not to mention help us fill our empty spots so try to find some people wherever you can find em.

Wing/Ship News:
-Lets all pull together and hit the points for the SCIV big time this weekend, the Vanguard is still has a good chance to win it. We are currently in second but we are coming up on their heels fast. Lets get it going and score some major points this week.

Battlegroup News:
-The ASF Supremacy Competition is still on, lets get those points up to support the Vanguard!!!!
- -There is a new wargame coming out! Imperial Storm III ! The official webpage is here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/wo/is3/. The VA wants the ASF to do well in this wargame and so this is a perfect time for the SC as we will be at our most active time of participation and allow us to buy more ships and craft in the wargame.
