Mantis Squadron WSR for week ending Wed. May 2 2002

Squadron Status:
-Nothing has really changed in the squadron roster at the moment..... yet. Jensen is moving to Hornet to join Drax and Erryc to help them get it moving again. Hope you have fun man!

Wing News:

- We are holding at over 18000 points. Unfortunately, the Intrepid is at over 20000 points. We need pilots to turn in 1 pilot file every 2-3 days minimum if we want to win this comp. If not a pilot file, at least fly in 2 matches MP please. This is a matter of pride. I don't intend to lose to the Intrepid OR Avenger OR Grey Wolf. They WILL lose to US, not the other way around. Let's fly boys. I want to also see Mantis in the top 5 squads. I know you all can do the sort of activity I am asking because I saw it done during the last TD comp when we worked our butts off to tie Scorp. Now Scorp and Mantis are allies and we must work as hard as we did in the TD to win this bloody thing. Don't forget, we have 5 weeks left. That's only about 18 battles. That's nothing major for that amount of time. I hope you all live up to my hopes and expectations.

The Recovery of the Hammer



In the darkness of time and space,

The ruling hammer was dropped and lost

The hand that grasped it, his cloak and face

Had dearly paid the ultimate cost.



Many others found the hammer

But they all failed to lift it

It could not be grasped under one banner

And so, it continued drifting



Then came the group of the loyal and proud

All knowing that one hand was not enough

Many hands came together, and said out loud

Reborn the Empire, the hammer’s aloft!



What was lost is now found

What was old is now anew

The hammer is no longer on the ground

And many have come from the few



We are all united, under the same banner!!!

Long live, the Emperor’s Hammer!
