Hello to everyone! Another week has gone by and we continue to move along steadily toward the conclusion of SC4. The Intrepid is still in good shape but the other wings may close in through the Week Of Wars. The XVT Week Of War is going on now so I hope we can get out there and get some activity. I won't be around much this weekend so I'm hoping I can get some matches in Monday thru Thursday on the zone.

Great work guys! That's the highest weekly output yet, we also gained 5
citations so that's some good team work. I'll be updating the battleboard
again this week-end to reflect the battles flown during the week. Great
work by Blade this week, moving from 3rd place up into 1st. :)

I'd like to see everyone getting some points during the week, if you only have a little bit of time during the week just showing up at a MP comp and flying 1 match gets you 5 points for participation. 40 points if you win(including the medal and participation pts). Completing an Iwats course http://www.emperorshammer.net/to/ is 15 points per course and some courses are extremely easy if you follow the course notes. Let's see the Intrepid become the flagship!

FCHG points for that week. #1) gets 4 points, #2)3 pts, #3)2 pts and #4)1 pt. After the month
is complete all the points from each week will be totaled and the winner will receive an Iron Star-Bronze WINGS.

EH/Tie Corps News...
Our poor Flight Officer and several others have been infected with an e-mail virus (Klez) http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.h@mm.html that sends out an empty e-mail with a ZIP attachment. This virus is a little bit more crafty, though, because it spoofs the "From" address to make it look like someone else sent the infected e-mail out. Check the headers to notify the correct person infected.
The Combat Operations Officer (VA Khadgar) khadgar1@shaw.ca wants to let those know that if they believe they have an LoC problem from a Multiplayer event (like it's not awarded and missing) to email him with the subject "LoC Problem" and he'll get back to you. This can happen quite often, I'm working with Khadgar to resolve a missing LoC for our own LT Phantom, so be on the look out if you won a match and yet don't see the LoC come in. You get an email when it's awarded.
Avenger Elite Squadron Commander Sarin has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Congrats to him.
The COO also has this to say about multiplayer events.
"A number of people have expressed concerns about COO sponsored Multiplayer Competitions. The concerns rest in hosts sometimes showing up late due to prior commitments, or some not showing at all. Henceforth, all Multiplayer participants are encouraged to fly matches regardless of the situation. Any and all matches that are flown within the designates times will be counted, even if it is necessary to report extra matches directly to the Combat Operations Officer."

To be promoted from SL to LT:
1. Submit your Imperial Navy Pilot Record (INPR) to your Squadron Commander. 
2. Participate in any official TIE Corps competition or contest. 
3. Fly any official TIE Corps battle, with the exception of free missions, these are located at the TIE Corps Battle Center. 
4. Submit EH/TC fiction or graphics. 
5. Complet an IWATS Course.
6. Fly in Multiplayer Competition, Win a LoC.


Skipping Missions 
You are not allowed to skip a mission in a battle whatever the reason is. All missions of a battle must be completed. You are not to use the ingame 'skipping mission' option of X-Wing Alliance. If you encounter a battle that has a fatal bug in it that prevents you from playing the rest of the battle, you cannot edit your pilot file to skip the mission. If you encounter a fatal bug, fill out a Bug Report on the Battle Center to explain why you could not finish a mission, and save a backup of your pilot file so you can finish the battle after it has been repaired. Skipping missions may lead to have the batle removed from your combat profile.


Great week guys, I haven't ever seen the squad this active before! If we keep it up like this we'll definitely have the Intrepid win SC4 and become the flagship so let's not get lazy. We need to help our ship gain every single point possible to emerge victorius. The XVT Week Of War is going on now with the XWA starting next week so I may see some of you all out there. :)
