KAPPA SQUADRON REPORT, 4th March 2002, Captain Algaron
Sorry for the delay in getting this report out but things have been rather hectic over the last couple of days.
- I have now activated KAPS (Kappa Activity Points System). All the details are on the Kappa website on the Status page. From March 1st onwards all your achievements will be awarded points by my new system so we can track and reward activity over an extended period. In next weeks Squadron Activity section points scored will be indicated in the brackets.
- It looks like a Kappa legend will be rejoining our Squadron soon, so watch this space!
- Voting for the Kappa Hall of Fame was very close this week. The votes were - Tempest (4), Wlodek (2), Algaron (2), Deacan (2), Jan Wemmel (1). Congratulations then to Tempest on being inducted as the first Flight Leader in the Hall of Fame Squadron! Very well deserved. Next week will see the second Flight Leader inducted, so get voting.
- A new competition has been announced. Check out details for the Sovereign Free Mission blast at the following website - http://sov.imperialmight.com/blast.htm
- COL Stele's "Roasting Rebels" competition took place last Saturday, and by all accounts was a great success. I couldn't make it myself so I'll have to wait patiently with the rest of you for the results.
- CPT Jens Vigsted's "EH Tie Pilot Tour" is still in the sign up phase. All the details can be found on the following website - http://212.242.141.115/ehtpt/ - I encourage all Kappa members to take part.
- The Prelude to Andevia comp has been extended by a week - details at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/prelude/

- Compete for March KAPS points - details on the Kappa HP Status page. I will be announcing a monthly battle to fly during the course of this week with plenty of KAPS points to be won - so be ready!
- Kappa Hall of Fame - Astarosta and Tempest are the two inductees to date - please cast votes this week for the second Flight Leader - remember any Kappa pilot (past or present) can be nominated.
- Design a Banner Graphic for the Kappa Hall of Fame to display on the website. I will award 4 KAPS points for all entries, and a further 4 for the best. The deadline is 2 weeks from today.
- Recruitment - please lend assistance to Tempest in his efforts to recruit new pilots.
- Roll Call - from now onwards the sending of my WSR is also my announcement of the Kappa Roll Call - report back via email within 24 hours and you will have answered the Roll Call. Answer all 4 during the course of the month and you'll receive a KAPS point. When you reply you might as well get that vote in for the Kappa HOF.
- Fly TIE-FREE 191 (attached) for the Sovereign Free Mission Blast - deadline March 21st.
