I hereby submit the Iota Squadron report for the third week of May , 2002.
Squadron News:
Captain Pryde is nearing compleation of a new squadron web site. Which should be online soon.
Our thanks to Pryde for taking the time to construct a new design for the web site.
Also I'd like give a warm welcome back to our very own Colonel Marconius. He just returned from
his honeymoon !! Perhaps in a couple of years we'll have some new cadets ;) And once again
Congradulations on getting married Marco !!
In other news, Commander Shadd (me) was promoted to captain.
Communication has made a major leap with in the squadron, not to menation activity is on the rise.
Iota is signed up for Colossus Squadron League, 2. Slated to begin in a few weeks. Be prepared !
This CSL competition won`t just be with other squadrons from the Colossus but the entire fleet!
For this weeks CSL round we are due to fly FM-TIE # 85. I will be sending the mission and a offical
notice for the competition in a e-mail following this report.
Wing News:
The Wing wide merit system has been updated, on June 1st this new system will go into effect.
Also there will be a Wing meeting this Wednesday at 7 PM EST.
Our Commodore has also returned from leave, and that he has offered to pay the tab in the cantina
for the Captain's promotion party.
Fleet News:
Wing IX WC has been appointed, Congratulations to Colonel Miack, who has been selected as the new Wing Commander.
It is rumored that the Battle Group is about to engauge the Sovereign again soon in Imperial Storm Three, stay alert for the
next battle announcement!
