1. Avenger Squadron has recently received new pilots. This pilot shuffling is a needed process to maintain the most active squadron in the fleet. It is often the case that the very active pilots suffer from burn out, or real life becomes more dominating and keeps them unable to be active. With this being said, a few Avenger pilots have been moved from the squadron to other locations. I would like to welcome our three new pilots to the squadron. Welcome Major Dae Cam, Major Kenath Zoron, and LCM Falcon. Major Dae Cam is a former Avenger who had the misfortune of being with the Squad in her more innactive days, but has now returned with a great amount of motivation to help Avenger continue on its path of Domination. Major Kenath Zoron is a veteran CMDR from the ISD Vanguard. He is both a SP and MP specialist who will help the squadron greatly. LCM Falcon is our youngest Avenger, but is looking forward to making a name for himself. Welcome to all of you!

2. More Pilot Changes to Come!!! Avenger Squadron will be receiving a pilot who currently has over 1000 FCHG and 40 CR points. This mystery pilot will be joining us during July. LCM Rahn will be the Avenger who is departing.

3. In the Pell/Brian/Sarin/Zoron race to 1500 FCHG, Sarin is now the leader with 1339(Pell has 1308, Brian 1127, and Zoron 866)! I will award a Silver Star of the Empire to any Avenger who beats me.

4. The Avenger Website has been moved to http://www.minos.net/~aes. Major Dae Cam is currently updating the Site with a PHP news system and other content driven areas. An Avenger Fiction Archive(Brian's will be the first to go in!) will be created along with an Avenger graphics library. We will also be adding an Avenger Biography section. Be sure to write yourself a nice little biography on your TC career. Usernames and Passwords for the automated news system will be out soon.

5. Competitions!!! Avenger is currently working on two competitions. The Avenger 1 on 1 Double Elimination tournament will begin having sign ups once Major Dae Cam creates a sign up sheet. This competition will be open to the entire fleet. It has already been approved by the Training Office. Our second competition is in the planning process. It will begin sometime after the End of Imperial Storm. This competition will be a very interesting multi layered event that will have Avenger Squadron playing the Antagonist against the ASF :p Myself and Major Dae Cam are currently working on the details. Once we have initial details of the competition, I will be asking Avengers for input and ideas. Stay tuned! This competition will be a great experience!

6. Congrats to Pell on receiving his Bronze Star for his work in May. Pell did an outstanding job flying for the squadron.

7. Congrats to the ASF on their victory over the ATF in Imperial Storm. Major Zoron and myself both had the opportunity to fly for the ASF during the multiplayer portion of the competition. Also Congrats to Major Dae Cam who flew well for the ATF in the competition.

8. Congrats to the newly appointed Avenger Black-Shirts, CM Brian, LC Corrin, Major KK, and Captain Pell. The Avenger Black-Shirt is only granted to long serving members of Avenger Squadron who have consistently performed above and beyond the call of duty. These four pilots have served as outstanding examples of what an active pilot should be. Congrats to all of them! Also, I had the good fortune of being Awarded the Black Shirt by my Flight Leaders. Thanks fellas :p

9. I would like to emphasize that our new website is fantastic. And that I am going to be using it very often. I want each and everyone of you to take a look at the site every other day at least. We will be updating it with news and various other information concerning the squadron. I am very happy with the content and ideas that have been added by Major Dae Cam. 2. As stated above, the ASF has won its battle against the ATF. It is very important that Avenger pilots take part in the next round of competition. The multiplayer portion of the competition is very important, and YOU ARE THE ELITE MP PILOTS, so we need to have a hand in the operations. Once again I must congratulate RA Azazel and Ender on their great work!

3. Take the IWATS AIM Course. I am the Prof :p

4. The Position of TO has been filled. Congrats to Mell, who takes over the duties formerly held by Havoc.

5. I want everyone to take a look at XWA Free 68, XVT 35, XVT Free 90 and XVT Free 99. All of these battles have Avenger Squadron in them.

Great work this week Pilots! Everyone did an outstanding job of being Active in one way or another. I am very impressed with the hard work.

Pilot of the Week: Pell/Dae! Great work to Dae for entering the squad and doing so much work on the website and also for adding great ideas for the future of the squadron. Also great work to Pell who flew more SP than the rest of the Squad!

Trivia: Brian Won last weeks trivia by getting 1/2 of the question correct. Pri was the first Avenger CMDR(official) and I have held the title of Avenger CMDR longer than any other CMDR in Avenger's history. This Weeks Trivia revolves around our website. What is the name of the pilot on our Avenger website that is displaying his tatoos on his arm. Also, what does this pilot have to do with our Squadron CMDR?

THOUGHTS:

After viewing our squadron roster today, and looking at the talent of our pilots, I must say that I believe this is the strongest Avenger Squadron that I have ever commanded. Yes, we are lacking Bruc and BH, but this squadron is a machine of great pilots. It is by far the most talented squadron I have worked with, and by far the most multi-talented.

I want the new pilots to understand that activity is the most important thing in this squadron. I do not demand that you fly until your sticks break, I only ask that you fly consistently, that your activity is constant. You do not need to fly SP and MP every day, but you do need to fly them every week. If you do not have the abililty to fly in a week, be active in other ways(graphics, fiction, be on mirc, drop a message on the web-boards)

I am interested in reopening Avenger training nights so that our newer pilots can learn from some of us tricky vets. Also, many of you are in need of practice for your 2 on 2 matches. We will begin work on this after the Current WoWs.

If you are interested in creating a competition or adding something to the Squadron's activity then please let me know. As always I will help you make your competition happen.

Avenger Squadron is currently housing many members of the DB. I believe that the majority of us are Sith. If you would like me to send your flying activity to your DB house, then just let me know. Also, if you are looking to fly members from other houses, just look within Avenger as we represent various houses.

Remember, each of you are Avengers. This might not of meant a hell of a lot 7 months ago, but it does now. Be proud of the fact that you are Elite, and of the fact that you are by far the most active of all of the Elite Squadrons. Keep up the Great work!
