SQUADRON NEWS

-MAJ Gidda resigned from CMDR of Ranger, his replacement is CM VinDoros. CM Nicolaas resigned as CMDR of Falcon being replaced by CM Bobxavi. And CM Riccardo Grazioli resigned as CMDR over Vampire with CM Darkmage taking over the position.
-The March newsletter, #83, has been released! It focusses on Jedi Outcast and features 5 reviews of the game and lots of other goodies.
-LCM Turbo resigned due to RL problems. We hope he comes back some day. However, since he resigned, the Bloody May's secondary objective has been accomplished. We now have 26 citations :)
-Thanks to all the activity in the Bloody May, we also got plenty of medals. Looking at the WC's report, we can see that of the 5 PCs awarded to the wing, 3 went to our squadron; and of the 9 ISMs, 5 went to us too :)
-Tadaaaa ! The Tactical Office presents you the Golden Tug Awards ! These new awards will be given for the best battles released over a particular year. The first edition of the Golden Tug Awards will reward the best creations of year 2001, and every pilot will be able to vote through the TC polling system. First, I need nominees for each category, check the full details of this competition at http://www.emperorshammer.net/tac/gta.html.
-The ISD Relentless, another ship in the Battlegroups, has been converted to XWA. That means we now have a new full wing of squadrons to play with! You know what that means for Phantom squadron? Fresh meat! (grin)

SQUADRON STATUS

-WC Own: post message boards, complete IWATS courses and fly! This is what we need to win this comp for the third time in a row!
-WC Beer challenge:The WC will buy beers for a entire month to any squadron that hands fifty or more BSFs this month. So get flying!
-Command makes a SW Trivia once in a while. If you're a real SW fan, try and complete it. Hey, easiest Iron Stars you'll ever see in your life :)
