I hereby submit the Iota Squadron report for the second week of June, 2002.
Squadron News:
This past week we see the leave of two fine pilots.
Major Daniel Stephens and Colonel Calias have both left for the
Fleet Reserves, they will be missed.
The FL spot of Flight two was opened and a new pilot is being
sought to fill the open FL spot. More on this in the coming days.
LT Jaron Kai joined the squadron and has proven to not only be
an active pilot but a well trained pilot. Certainly a most welcome
addition to the squadron. Once again, Welcome aboard !
The Hammer competition ended Thursday with our total victory.
To say the least I am proud of you my pilots. Job well done.
Colossus Squadron League (CSL) ended today, as was already
announced by the Wing Commander, Iota squadron has won
competition. Iota went undefeated!
June looks to be an exciteing month, we have a real chance to
challenge Omicron and Nu for the squadron of the month title.
Activity is at a record high for Iota, lets make it the status quo.
Wing News:
CSL ends today, expect more on this tomorrows Wing report.
LCM Curtis, formerly of Nu squadron was awarded command
of Nun squadron aboard the SSSD Sovereign. Congradutions
to our former wingmate.
Fleet News:
Once again confirmed by the XO, SA Astintane. There will be no new capital ships opening.
The uniform size limit has been reduced to 40k.
A former member of Iota squadron, now BGCOM VA Drake has been appointed as the TIE
mission design professor at IWATS.
The Battlecry newsletter has been revived! After nearly a year of absence this old NL is
back in operation.
