CMDR/CM Hunter reporting in for Demon Squadron, 7/7/02
Squadron News
-Well Demon pilots, we came in 3rd in the WC's Own for June, but even so I think we did a great job. If we all pitch in and do our best, we really can be a force to reckon with. Let's all work hard so that when the next WC's Own comes around, we'll be ready to compete.
-On another note, this week was probably one of the quietest weeks I've ever had. Even though some of our Demon pilots are LOA, the rest of you need to do something TC-related. Honestly, you don't need to do a lot of work to fly just one free mission. If those pilots who have not been active do start performing at least one activity a week, in the future I will remove you from the squadron.
-In case you didn't get my email, the comp vs. Vav Squadron (Fly XWA-FREE 63) has been extended to July 15th.
-We still need to get a few more pilots to fill in our empty FM slots, so everyone should try to recruit some people to join our squad. I'll post a recruiting message on the recruitment board shortly to help that effort.
-Wing Commander's Own:
I must say that I'm pleased with most squadron's performances in this comp. Four out of six have flown more than 100 missions this month, a healthy dose of IWATS courses have been taken, message board post are thriving and while there was some what few mp matches won I guess that can be explained by the fact that we're not a mp wing.
Well enough of this, here's the results (a complete list will be mailed later).

Beer ChallengeDemon have already won their free beer and and this final week of the challenge Falcon too managed to win it. Congrats Falcon! Most of the other squadrons was very close but didn't reach quite all the way, Don't worry though you'll get a new chance one day (not this month though, since I'll be away most of it).

Well, I never thing I seen this before. Congratulations and well done to Alex Foley who have recieved all Stars possible (Gold Star, Silver Star, Brons Star and Iron Star) this month!
-WC Spearhawk is going to be on extended leave for 3 weeks. In the meantime, Gord Darkonian will be the A-WC. Send him anything that you would send Spear, but don’t forget to CC Darksaber when sending pilot files so that he can BSF them.
2000 Challenge
A while ago, BGCOM Mell challenged Immortal to reach 2000 Missions flown... at the time it was not possible and we only reached 1400 Missions flown (Immortal reccord at the time). Keep in mind that average in Immortal was 500 Flown Missions before that.
BUT This Month we reached it!
The ISD Immortal flown 2080 Missions during the month of June. Well done to all that flown! ;) And Thank you
Till June 2002, no Wing in TC had passed the 2000 Missions flown mark. We go down in TC History.
Heya,
I'm currenlty working on 6 missions based on Wing XI (yes, you guessed right, 1 mission for each squadron :p), also I want to create a XWA Crest (you know, those gfx you see before the briefing map) for each squadron.
I've already created a crest for Ranger and Falcon squadrons using Mycorft and Dark Hawk squadron patches, what I need now is a squadron patch for Ghost, Phantom, Demon and Vampire. Size must be around 150 x 150 or more but please no less than 140x140.
I attached the Ranger and Falcon patches to give you an idea of what I need.
