Introduction:
Welcome to another edition of the Daleth Squadron Report. This one puts the reports back on track, I think. I thought of something really cool earlier, and I wanted to pass it on to all of you. Unfortunately I forgot. Must be the booze. :) Anyways, on to the report.
Squadron News:
-Bad news this week. CPT Egg'Foo was declared AWOL.
-I returned from leave (obviously)!
-Since I've only received 1 entry, and no other responses to the banner comp, I am calling it complete. Congrats to LT Lolet for winning. It would have been more interesting if he had some competition, but I understand that not everyone has graphics skills. It will be our new squadron banner as soon as Zev and I can clean it up a bit.
-I've just received confirmation that the War of the Squadrons has begun! Our first victim, err, opponent is Beth Squadron. More info will be released in a seperate mailing.
-The Daleth Genius Comp has begun, thanks to LT Hobbes.
-Ace is working on a new layout for our squadron website. He did great work the first time and I'm really looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next. Stay tuned for more details.
-LT Ace Hobbes was awarded an IS:SR for having the highest total score in the Wing III vs IV Comp for Wing III. Nice job Ace!!!
-LT Gavin Shard was awarded the Order of the Vanguard for being a member of the EH for 1 year! Congrats!
Squadron Status & Orders:
-Fly XWA-Free #65 for the War of the Squadrons! You have until June 11 to fly this. Our first opponent is Beth Squadron. They have some good pilots, but we're better because... well because we just are. :) It's based on average score, so everyone try to fly it multiple times to get the best possible score. Everyone needs to fly because those who don't will drag our score down. And that's a bad thing. A VERY bad thing.

That's it for this week. We're down in numbers again with the loss of CPT Egg'Foo. I highly encourage everyone to recruit recruit recruit! Bug your friends, post flyers, fly on the zone, email cadets and offer help with their training, etc. We can't even gain Squadron Citations with less than 6 pilots! Yikes! And remember what Weird Al said in the song Albuquerque: "Wakka Wakka Doo Doo Yeah!"
