Squadron News:

- A bit of sad news first, veteran ace pilot and a personal friend, CPT Azrael is going to the reserves. He is going to move to the USA, starting from scratch, so he has no computer acces for some time. I know Azrael from my time as Avenger CMDR. I invited him into the squadron because I noticed his skill. He even managed to beat me in an online Combat Engagement. :) During his time in Avenger and Scorpion, he has shown himself to be an examplary officer and a loyal and good friend. He will be missed, not only by me but also by this Squadron, the Vanguard and the whole TC.

As a salutation to him, Scorpion forms an honour guard, while his Shuttle leaves. CMDR Tarkin commands: "Attention honour guard! Salute!" The whole squadron salutes CPT Azrael as he walks past his comrades to his shuttle. With a final nod or respect to his peers, CPT Azrael enters his Shuttle. The Shuttle powers its engines and launches from the Vanguard. "Honour guard, at ease."

- The Scorpion MSE was sent last week, full of activity. WC Ekim will review it ASAP and then your medals will be awarded. Just a little more patience guys.

- One of my battles was released this week! Y'all fly XvT-TC 45! ASAP! :P

- The Vanguard Top Dog Competition started July 1st! Fly XWA-TC 30, I dont care if you cant get a High Score, I want you to participate! For god sake, I'll even fly the darn thing if it makes you guys active.

- We have a competition soon with Vortex and Tartarus of the Grey Mutt. While we are preparing the competition, I need to know which MP game (xvt or XWA) you prefer to fly in this competition. Let me know, I already received word from: Alec Qarni, Andrew, Strahd and Victor.

Squadron Status

- Roster is down to 11. Activity levels to 58%, this can and must get better dudes. So get a battle to fly or find a mate to fly MP against in one of the EH's many MP competitions.

- No current competition except the Van Top dog competition.

FL/CM Alec Qarni: Flew 1 battle. Won 2 LoCs at NotlS. Won 1 LoC at EuroComp. Won 2 LoC's at the Van Shield Comp. Won 8 LoCs and 2 DFC's at Tempest Storm. Won 8 LoCs in XvT WoW XLVIII! Awesome work on those LoCs and DFC's Alec! You are putting your CMDR (me) to shame with such MP performence (2nd week in a row!), keep it up! :)
