CMDR/CM Hunter reporting in for Demon Squadron, 7/13/02

 

Squadron News

 

-The comp against Vav Squadron is still on, and will finish in two days. I’m a bit disappointed since I’ve received only 2 pilot files for it so far. The rest of you should fly the mission and get a pilot file into me ASAP.

 

-I’m also in contact with MAJ Rogue Wing through emails and it looks like we might have a competition against his squadron in the future. Keep your joysticks prepped, pilots.

 

-I’ve received emails from several of you pilots reporting in, and I appreciate that. Still, try and get in some time to actually fly some missions. Those make me even more pleased than simple contact emails :-P.

 

-Let’s try and find some more pilots to fill a few of our empty FM slots. I’d like to have at least 8 pilots in the squad.

 

-CM VinDoros stepped down as Ranger CMDR due to rl reasons. If you’d like to become the new Ranger CMDR, send applications to Darksaber (Darksaber@ehnet.org) and Gord Darkonian (darkwingvader@go2.pl).

 

-LCM Deimos of Phantom Squadron has become the new Baron after achieving and holding the current highest number of high scores in TC missions/battles! Congrats, Deimos!

 

-There’s also an online petition to LucasArts for the creation of a sequel to TIE Fighter. This will only bring good things to the Emperor’s Hammer as I’m sure you all realize TIE Fighter is becoming ancient and hardly works on new systems. To sign it go to http://www.petitiononline.com/tf2pc/

-The comp vs. Vav Squadron is still on for two more days, so go fly XWA-FREE 63 now!!!

 

-The COM’s Co-Pilot Comp is still on for two more days as well, so fly XWA-FREE 73 and send in your pilot files to Darksaber or me.

 

-Every Thursday night we have the Night of the Lost Souls. It starts at 20:00 GMT and ends at 22:00 GMT (3:00-5:00 EST) and is held on the IRC Channels #isd_immortal and #EHCOC (Undernet server).
