Zayin Squadron Report # 21


Another slow week but this time it is due to the
holidays. I went, said “Hi” to the relatives, I ate,
I slept. :P

News:

Much in the way of awards and medals, see the wing
report.

Yod was beaten by Sigma Squadron by about 100,000pts.
The commanding officers of both squadrons were the
highest scorers.

We are in a commanding lead for the Ultimate Scramble
as of Week 2 but I’m sure that the other wings are
starting to come alive, so FLY! Deadlines are now
going to be 3pm Eastern Time.

The graphix portion of the Power Mascot Battles has
started and they should be no more than 800 X 600.
Any submissions should be sent to Col Sickman and
myself.

RA Bevel Leeson has been appointed the COMM for the
IDS Vanguard and Wing XV has a new WC, Col Garik
Hizard.

Also, Maj Grail SoulChaser has been selected as the WC
for Wing XX.

War Manual Online
From the WO, Vice Admiral Pel:
I'm pleased to announce that the Fleet Commander and
Executive Officer have approved the new War Manual,
and it can now be found in the War Office at
http://www.tiecorps.org/wo/ (thanks to the XO for
hosting). The WM contains all the information you'd
need for playing wargames using XWA. I've also
started playing testing some new rules and
modifications, and I'm looking for people to help out.
