Squadron News:

-CPT Hello has gotten the Order of the Vanguard, third
echelon for his Almost, 3 years of duty in the TC.
Congrats.

-CPT Hello has also created new uni’s for us. It
should be okay, size-wise.

-Our comp against Kaph is in it’s final week! Fly
FTIE 183 before Jan 14!

-Get ready for a comp against PE Squadron. I will be
talking to CM Defender about this to try and get some
kind of final details out of him soon.

-LCM Mayk Drazzic has graduated from 3 classes of the
IWATS with perfect scores! LCM Drazzic has also
changed his email addy to reptile21@go2.pl.

-The position of FL for Two Flight is up for grabs.
The most active pilot in the month of January will be
awarded that position. Three Flight may also be up
for grabs pretty soon if I don’t see some kind of
activity!

Wing News:

-Lamed and Yod Squadron is having a comp against each
other. Everyone, start placing your bets!

-Cheth Squadron is having a comp against Zeta from
Wing VI [I think]. Goooooo Chethees!

-Well we did very well in the MPB comp, fiction
section. LT Philo got second, I got third, LC Halcyon
got fourth, and LCM KC got sixth! Way to go guys!
BTW, Col Inky’s fiction was fantastic and I personally
would’ve been surprised if she got anything lower than
first.

-The final round of the MPB is out and the mission is
TC-TIE 125! Fly it before Jan 17. Send it to Col
Reaper and myself! We are currently in second place,
let’s show them who the best TIE wing is!

-Jack’s Ultimate Scramble is over as well. We got
second place, with Wing III, taking the whole ball of
wax.

-Prelude to Andevia starts...

Today the Prelude to Andevia competition starts. It is
open to ALL members of the Emperor's Hammer,
regardless of subgroup, rank or position. It features
flying, design, fiction and other events. The

-Reminder about mission skipping

Skipping a mission is only tolerated in case of a
fatal bug, which is extremely rare these days. If the
procedure stated in the cheating policy is not
followed, the BSF is simply cancelled without any
notification (because the database doesn't support it
yet). Actually, skipping a mission for any reason may
be forbidden in a near future, if people keep ignoring
the procedures.
Unknown Commands on IRC

We have been seeing a lot of people using unknown
commands and scripts on IRC channels recently, some of
which can be malicious to your IRC Client. These
scripts work primarily on human operators running the
scripts out of curiosity and infect the victims IRC
Client. I would like to advise all members of the
Emperor's Hammer that it is usually a very bad idea to
run any script you do not know exactly what it does
from the code as it can do damage to your client and
also if malicious may well earn you a ban and HCI
trial.
