Graphics A Picture of MC-90 'Fear' and ISD 'Challenge' - fighting together, side by side with NR task force. One submission per pilot. I think Dirk showed us very well just how easy these are to do ;) Just pull together one and that's all we need :) We don't need to win the awards, just get the participation so we can win the comp :)
-I need to remind you guys to again, keep your game platforms up to date, as if you don't fly a mission in a comp for a game platform you supposedly have, it hurts our participation total
-Recruit! If you take a look at the first news post below, you'll see why this has become an important task for us at the moment. Get in whoever you can, especially if they're a strong flyer!
-My first painful task of the week is to announce that a long-time Tempestation has decided to step down due to serious r/l concerns. CM Dirk Logan has been in this squad since I was Captain Locke, and has done more tasks here than I could ever list in one single report. He truely made a commitment to this squad and has made it a better place, and I am pained to let him go. He has battled r/l for a long time to make a place for us, and I know that he does not make his desicion to go to the Reserves easily.
Dirk, there'll always be a place for you here :)
-Second on the agenda, is that unfortunetly Tempest and I had agreed on scoring the Kappa comp with a total from 5 pilots. With only four entrees due to Chris's broken TIE and Dirk's desicion to leave for the reserves, we ended up coming up short. Buuuuut... we did score better than every pilot in that squad with the exception of Tempest(ironically ;P), so do be proud of yourselves for a comp well flied :) We'll dominate the rest of the Chal vs Fear comp, and hopefully by then we'll have another flyer to help us start chasing after more squads again :)
-Third, as you guys can see this report is obviously flagrantly late ;) I've pretty much been on a sort of leave since Wednesday, as I've been moving into an apartment and getting back into uni and such, and things have been crazy. Now that I've finally moved in, have gotten my schedule worked out, and have fixed everyone and their mother's computers with this unrelaible network, things should be back to normal :) I apologize for the lateness, but sunday and monday consisted of me doing other TC works besides the usually long WSR :)
To make it even worse, our current network didn't want to let me log onto my email or submit my report on TC.org. So, I've been waiting all day for that to clear up, which it finally has ;p Tough first week to say the least, but it should all be behind me now :)
-Currently the Trivia list is going around, as we all attempt to find out the answers. Looks like we're doing great at the moment thanks to the efforts by CPT Stuart as well as former Tempestation CPT Alimet, so if you guys can help em out with some of the last answers, go for it!
-Site got a bit of a fix-up, so now it's easy for us CMDRs to post news. So... expect the Chal site to be used more frequently, at the least by myself :)
-Sadly, VA RogueWing, COM of the ISD Immortal, has stepped down due to r/l concerns. His loss shall be felt throughout the battlegroup and especially onboard his ship.
