-Be prepared for another ship-wide competition, this time against the CRS Fear of the IW!
-The Tempest Campaign of Dominance shall begin anew against Kappa Squadron on August the 17th. They're a quality squad and will provide a good challenge, so be prepared! After Kappa, I should have another squadron lined up... preferably a Challenge squadron, if one would be brave enough to step up to the challenge I put out every week ;)
-The run-on's been stagnent for a bit, so if you're in the mood to write up a bit of fiction, head down to the message boards and give it a shot!
-Recruiting is a fun thing to do which has made us the biggest squadron in the Wing... but we could always be bigger ;) Keep on grabbing people in!
-First off, big congratulations to all of you guys in the Wing X vs Wing XX comp. All of you did something, and if you take a look at all the Tempest submissions you'll find that over half of them came from this Squadron :) I'm sure when the results soon come out Tempest, and the Wing as a whole, will come out ahead as always :)
-Secondly, due to serious computer problems that have plagued him for this past month, CM Dirk Logan will be on leave for two weeks in order to get everything sorted out on his end.
-Third, the other day I was appointed to the job of TCC:XW, which means I'll be in charge of processing the slew of new X-Wing battles being released to the mission compedium in the very near future. So, if you guys have X-Wing, I'd suggest dusting it off a bit, as I can promise you'll be seeing some quality work appearing in the XW-TC section :)
-Fourth... in typical Tempest fashion, a few message boards were taken over this week due to ever pressing need to control all ;) Feel free to join in on the fun ;P
-Last but not least, I wrote up the squad's monthly MSE, and I just wanted to let you all know I was quite pleased with last month's activity. We were a solidly active squad, participated well in the comps, and overall spent a lot of time in communication with each other. Twas one of the most enjoyable months I've ever had as a CMDR, and I appreciate you guys making this job quite fun for me :) I haven't stopped having fun since the day I came back, and I can't wait to see where the next month will bring us :)

-Well, while not all of the results are in, so far it's been announced that we owned the flying section of the comp, winning with 5 points to there 4(having won the TIE and XvT portions of the comp). So yay for us :) Hopefully the graphics and fiction will reveal some more Wing X(and Tempestation, since just all the entrees for graphics and most of fiction are Tempest files ;)) domination :) Anyways, check out the comp's temporary site to see all of the Wing X submissions!

-I know I had this up last week, but it's kinda important so I'm putting it up again :) The TAC office is hiring new testers for TIE. If you have some spare time and don't mind flying a battle or a free or such every now and then, I highly encourage this, as the TAC office is definetly in need of some good men for TIE at the moment.
