Hornet Squadron News:

 

  • Top Dog is now on! We're in 5th place right now gentlemen, with only myself and Draiff having flown anything for this tourny. I know you're prolly getting tired of hearing this, but we need you TO PARTICIPATE! If your computer won't let you fly right now, then do the trivia, or make a GFX (yes, stick figures count) or write a fiction! If your internet is good, go fly MP! If you got crap internet, go fly MP anyways! It earns you 3 points minimum every match you even fly in.
  • I've chosen a replacement FL3 for the squadron. I will be emailing for the appointment to be made ASAP.
  • SL Veers has reported in! He also tried flying a few battles! Nice work man!
  • SL Hef has reported in as well! He is busy with RL training to be a pilot but is gonna try to get his INPR done asap! Woo hoo!
  • LCM Stryker has broken the 100 FCHG mark! Great work man!!

Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Hornet members should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions: 

  • #ehcoc MP Events: These will resume on August 1st, after Parallax war ends. Deadline: None
  • XvT WoW [Priority #1]: This is a point fest for us to earn points for TD. 3 points per match plus an extra 2 for winning that match. How much easier can it get? Log onto the Zone and go fly. Any questions ask me or noWedge. Deadline: 8/22/2003

Battlegroup Competitions: 

  • BGCOM's XvT/XWA WoW Incentive Comp: AD Darksaber awards IS-GW/IS-SW/IS-BW to the top 3 ASF winners in each WoW. Avenger's LC Az has a stranglehold on the top spot most months, who will step up to challenge him next? Deadline: None
  • ASF Recruitment Comp: Exactly like the Vanguard Recruiting comp (see below) except on a Battlegroup-scale. Deadline: 8/20/2003 http://emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=740

Ship Competitions:

  • Top Dog [Priority #2]: Do I really need to explain this to you again? Just fly MP, SP, write fiction, do trivia, make graphics, etc... Deadline: 9/1/2003

  • Vanguard Recruitment Competition: The pilot who recruits the most Cadets off the Daedalus or Reservists from the Reserves to join the Vanguard in a month wins an IS-SR. Deadline: 9/1/2003 http://emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=733

Pilot of the Week Draiff! He's still working hard to help us move up from 5th place. He keeps in contact and is ready to help all the time.

Alright folks, let's try to wrest the PotW title from Draiff for next week! Let's go go go!
