- SQUADRON NEWS -

  • Guys, you have 6 days left to fly and submit your pilot files for Sovereign Squadron League semi-finals. Battles to fly are XvT-TC #59 and XWA-TC #33. Our opponents are Odin Squadron for XvT division and Omega Squadron for XWA division. I hope we can beat both but don't forget that victory in XvT is our primary objective. By the way, I'm going to start flying the XWA battle right after I complete this report so expect some good tips&hints within tomorrow :-)

  • We are still leading the Intrepid Activity Competition, CPT Tvan'Oris and LCM Zhaim Jifarr are our top guns there but I'd like to see more participation from the rest of you. I know that Derek is having some problems with his joystick so he is excused but I'd really like to see some pilot files from Drako, Michael, Marcin and Wiesio. C'mon guys, help Diamondback to be the WC's Own!

  • The ASFCOM has created three new competitions: ASF Trivia, ASF Recruitment and ASF Flying. Check out the Competitions Report below to know all details, just in case you want more awards in your ID line. Talking about medals, MSE time is near so if there is any activity you done I should be aware of (and I mean everything: from gfx creation to help a CS member) keep me informed and I'll add that to your Activity Tracking Record.
  • WC Phantom has returned from Leave and found a nice gift, a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Congratulations and welcome to the LC club! One Flaggie returns, another leaves: COM Frodo will be on extended Leave for the next 20 days. Phantom has full control of the ship...let's hope we don't crash on some asteroid ;-)

    I'm very pleased today to be able to honour two of the TIE Corps' best Flag Officers. Rear Admiral Indaro Gallia, COM of the ISD Colossus, and Rear Admiral Jahan Kalar, COM of the ISD Relentless, are both hereby promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral in recognition of the untiring support they give to their Ships and to the TIE Corps.

    Myself and AD Krax hold both of these Officers in high regard and these promotions are very much deserved. Congrats guys!

ISD-II Intrepid Activity Comp!

Start Date (mm/dd/yy): 7/1/2003 
End Date (mm/dd/yy): 8/25/2003 

Medals to be Awarded: IS-SW to Top MP Pilot IS-SW to Top SP Pilot IS-SR To Top IWATS IS-SR To Top Fiction and Graphics IS-BWs and IS-BRs for second places respectfully. Top winning Squadron gets the title of WC's Own, Top Pilot gets the title of COM Protector.
 
Miscellaneous Information: For Every mission flown, one (1) point is awarded to the pilot who flew it. Every fiction sent to the Intrepid Flags gets between 1 and 5 points (up to the Flag's discretion.) 3 points for every Iwats course passed. NO POINTS FOR HIGH SCORES. In addition a Ladder is going on, every ladder loss is worth two points, and every Ladder Win is worth 3. In the end, the pilot with the most points for each section gets an IS-SW or IS-SR (depending the Section) and IS-BW and IS-BR for seconds.
