Krayt Squadron - Weekly Squadron Report

Whoops, I forgot to send this out last night. Bit quieter this week overall, however Sav still flew a bit and we also had a few promotions within the squadron. Congrats to Captain Savageaz!!! Hopefully next week will pick up a bit, as I will not be coverin' for my boss and will have more time. I've also started 'preliminary negotiations' with CM Tek, CMDR of Phantom Squadron, for a upcoming Squadron Competition :)

General News;

 - The fleet is currently searching for apps for a new OPS Officer. Hopefully one will be chosen this week!!!!
 - Commendations of Loyalty(CoL) have now been awarded. Congratulations to all, especially the lucky few on the Int: CM Yukito, CPT CrimsonFury and CPT Tvan Oris. A special 'grats also goes out to the other 10 ASFers who were awarded for their Loyalty :)
 - There is a new mission creation competition on now, concentrating on making new battles for the next Sovereign Squadron League. More details on the TC news page and at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=856.
 - The TO's office has also just openned a new form of XWA MP.....the XWA Racing League. If you've been looking for something different to try, give this a go - info at http://www.ehracingleague.minos.net.
 - There's also been an email worm doing the rounds around the TC and the ASF. It's called the 'Sobig' Worm, and a fix/checker that takes about 1 minute to download and administer can be found at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.sobig.f@mm.removal.tool.html. Make sure you all d/l it to check....I dont want worms from ANY of you....especially hobbit sized ones from you Frodo! :P

 - Also would like to congratulate Sav on reaching the much coveted 2000 FCHG mark! Congrats Templar Savageaz! :)
