SARIN'S SUPPLY CLOSET

(This section was formerly known as the Squadron Commander's Office, but Khadgar got annoyed at the monks. I got lucky, Choosh has Khadgar's Ant Farm for an office-substitute. Now that Sarin's COM, I hope to move back soon.)

My door is now always open. Mainly because those silly technicians haven't fixed it yet. So until then, it's wide open.

A reading from the Book of Yoda : Chapter 24

Yoda was now bloody fabulous. Odin Squadron had just placed 3rd in the SSL XvT Division, and Yoda was delighted.

Yes folks, we pwned, gave pwnages, and pwn. Awesome effort folks. Medals will come out soonish. WE WANT AN OPS!

As seen previously : We are sadly down to just four members, so recruiting is a big priority. We now have a recruiting competition on, as does the wing and the ship. The pilot who recruits the most people will be in the running for 2 IS-SRs and a BR. Good eh? We will also have some other squadron competitions soon.

I have discovered I won't be able to do the WSR in Flash, boohoo. Well I could, if I had an army of trained monkeys. Which I dont, just in case you were wondering.

Return of Sarin!

VA Sarin had just returned from his time in the Unknown Regions. He had not wanted to leave his beloved ISD Grey Wolf, but his special assignment from GA Ronin had left him with no choice. Besides, he had learnt much in his time abroad. It had not been a futile effort, although his assignment there was not really complete, and he realized that he may be called back.

Sarin was now sitting in luxury in one of the fleet’s range of deluxe shuttles. Any minute now he would be reaching the co-ordinates of where the Grey Wolf has last been seen. He could, of course, request their exact co-ordinates, but he much preferred to find them as a test of his Sith Powers. The pilot’s voice came over the intercom, “Sir, we are about to exit hyperspace.” Sarin replied, “Excellent, I’ll be right up.” As the stars blur back into focus, the Vice Admiral was focusing on the Force. That is, until the pilot swore and began to plot an emergency escape jump. “Pilot, what is it?” “Sir, there are four star fighters in the area. According to their IFF the names are Dark Knight, Scriptmeister, Gangrene, and Idiot’s Array.” This last name triggered an old memory in Sarin. He now consulted the Force, and soon found what he was looking for. He addressed the pilot. “It is all right. They are friendly, I am sure of it. Open a comm. channel with them.

“This is Vice Admiral Sarin. To what to I owe the pleasure of your presence?” A reply came from one of the fighters. “We are here to see you to your destination.” “But how did you know where I would arrive?” “You are not the only one strong in the Force. We are here as part of Operation : GWIIA” More memories came back to Sarin. GWIIA and Idiot’s Array were connected somehow. Never mind, he would soon find out. His pilot spoke. “Sir, they just transmitted some co-ordinates to us.” Sarin told the pilot to execute the short hyperspace jump, and was not surprised to see the white triangle shape of an Imperial Star Destroyer out of the window. Sarin told the pilot to land on the ship.

After collecting his baggage, Sarin stepped out of the shuttle and was surprised to see four robed figures waiting for him. One gave out a yell of delight and in unision the four lifted the hoods off their faces. “Welcome back Sarin”. Realisation dawned on Sarin. These were the High Monks, JoeyC, Yoda, Choosh and Vladet. Sarin was pleased to see that the monks were still around, and not HCI’d. Miracles never cease. “Thanks Monks, its great to be back.” JoeyC, who Sarin noticed was now a Captain, handed Sarin a datapad. “What’s this?” Sarin asked. “The latest news for the fleet, a brief summary of the things you missed while you were away, and your new assignment.” “Cool, hows the ship?” “Not too shabby, but definitely not in fighting readiness.” Sarin frowned. “And the Flag Staff?” Yoda spoke up. “Khadgar is on the next shuttle out to the reserves frigate, where he will join WC Archon, who was replaced by WC Hev. Hev is also now in the reserves. The new Wing Commander is MAJ Gilad Pellaeon.” “So the new commodore is......” Choosh grinned. “You. It is your new assignment.” Sarin thought for a moment. Then he said, “okay guys, go and tell your commanders that I want to see them.” Vladet coughed. “We are commanders.” Sarin looked puzzled for a moment, then shrugged. “Very well, get the others and meet me on the bridge. We have a lot to do!”
