Operations Officer Open For Applications

Overview
The Operations Officer is responsible for the timely awarding of medals within the TIE Corps, providing consultive feedback on high level medals and maintaining the Operations Manual and related materials.

Selection Criteria - Essential
1. Good written communication skills.
2. An acceptable level of presence on online media such as IRC, message boards, etc.
3. Fast email response time.
4. The ability to work with a wide range of EH personnel in a diplomatic fashion.

Selection Criteria - Desirable
1. Graphics and/or HTML ability.
2. Prior experience in a similar position.

You must address each criteria with supporting evidence. Simply saying "Yes, I can do that" will not be enough. Include specific examples of your experience. You should meet at least the essential criteria to be considered for the position. You will be expected to perform the core duties of the position to an acceptable level. You must include at least three (3) references. At least one of these must be a former or current superior, preferably current. Ensure you have their permission first, as your application will be seen in a negative light if you have not gained their permission. Applications should be sent to the Fleet Commander and Executive Officer with the subject "Application for Operations Officer".

Squadron News:
 
Things still moving along pretty slow here in Vampire. I know part of this is my fault, as I haven't gotten as much time for the squadron as I would've liked. I've been trying to improve my score for the SSL, and have had little luck so far...my timing in the last mission is way off for some reason. But good work to Mosh and Deimos who've resubmitted their pilot files, with much better scores. Nobody has really been flying much, and Citations are still at 80.

Sov Squad League - Finals! XWA-FCHG 3 is due Today! I need all last minute submissions in my inbox by 12pm est tonight. I need only one more submission.
 
The Wing Commander of Wing XI has an open challenge to all of the Immortal. Any pilot who accepts will choose a free mission for any platform (except XW), or challenge the WC to an MP match on any platform. If the pilot beats the WC, he/she gets an IS-BW.

This week, i'm giving this honor to CM Deimos. He reflew for the SSL, and got all new HS's on another. He's also tried to help me improve my scores for the SSL. Good work Deimos. I believe this is your first one! Three more for an ISM!
 
Final Thought:
 
Just so you guys know...next week's report will be my last. I don't know what'll happen with the SSL...but win or lose, you guys did a hell of a good job in this competition. I know activity on my part hasn't been what it should be as a Commander...I knew this was going to happen, with my time limited. Its also the sign that its time for a commander to step down. I've tried to be the encouraging force, and set the example for activity...and sadly I haven't done that.
