Hey Hey! I'm back from leave finally, getting things back in order. Lots of paperwork to take care of, so this report might be kinda short. Anyway, let's do it!

SQUADRON NEWS

Thanks to CM Maw'la for filling in as A-CMDR while I was on leave.

LC Death transferred to the Reserves due to RL time constraints. Whenever you're ready to come back, there's a spot in Hey for you in Hey!

No submissions for Top Ace this month. I'll be announcing a new battle to fly in the next few days.

Other than that, not much for Squadron News...

Well, I actually have stuff to right here...:P

LC Aeishline Strathaven announced her retirement for the TC and DB. She was promoted to COL and awarded the Gold Star of Empire for her excellent service. Congrats and good luck!

Beth CMDR, MAJ Cray Mikalen was promoted to WC of Wing IX on the ISD Relentless under RA Jahan Kalar. Congrats Cray and good luck!

Our new WC is LC Thorn, formerly of the ISD Grey Wolf. Welcome to Wing III! Get used to hearing "Hide the pictures!" :)

Avenger COM Retires

This morning Rear Admiral Charles "Demos" Spencer submitted his resignation as Commodore of the SSD Avenger due to RL Military commitments. On behalf of the TIE Corps, I wish him a safe and speedy return to us.

Myself and VA Khaen will be taking applications for a new COM, but until I post the requirements, do not submit one.

With the success of the initial functionality test of the early versions of Telarian Gaming, work on newer versions of the client have already been put into progress.

In anticipation of new releases, Telarian Gaming is putting out the call for pilots to assist in testing newer versions of the Telarian Gaming client and the system it utilizes. With work continuing at a steady pace, testers will be needed in the very near future. The goal of these tests is accessability to Telarian Gaming. We encourage every pilot interested to sign up, as we need to make sure everyone can enjoy Telarian Gaming regardless of their setup.

For Telarian Gaming to be successful, we need serious pilots that can follow directions given to them by the testing staff.

Interested pilots should apply at http://www.telariangaming.com/app.htm.

As applications are received, you will be notified by the Testing Coordinator of dates and times we will need you to be available.

The EH is now a very active BSC Club. When I took over the COO Job we didn't won anything in WoW, but as you can see now here, we are getting better. Here are the most important win's for the EH.

Great work! Keep it up. You make me proud. Maybe in the near future it is possible that we reach the 1st place. This is a big goal from me personally.

Also you noticed that XvT Week of War moved away from the Zone. COOA Dax Corrin is currently writing an update for all you MPer's. I will keep you informed. Updates from the Combat Calendar and the EHCOC Website will be made tomorrow.

BitchX Professor Open for Applications

The Training Office is current looking for a new BitchX (a text-based IRC client) Professor to join the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School. The requirements are:

An active member of the Emperor’s Hammer holding the rank of Lieutenant (or equivalent) or above.
Extensive knowledge of the open-source IRC client, BitchX (http://www.bitchx.org/).
Be able to grade exam submissions within 24 hours.
Keeping Graduate Counts (total and per month).
Maintaining/updating the Course Notes (basic HTML knowledge necessary; or a good WYSIWYG editor).
Applications should be sent to me (to@emperorshammer.org) with the subject “BitchX PROF Application”.
