Krayt Squadron - Weekly Squadron Report
Aboard the ASF Flagship -- ISD-II Intrepid

Hey everyone. Last week I mentioned the possibility of a new FL and an SL coming to the squadron. Well, thanks to Arid, we have him as our new Flight 2 FL and have TWO new recruits. It's great to see some new faces in Krayt, and as a little note to the new SL's, Krayt is a great place to start your TC career...just thought I'd mention that. As an example, our last CMDR, MAJ Phantom moved up to become our WC and is now a Rear Admiral and COM of the ISD Relentless. The new FO, Fleet Admiral Cyric also started his TC career in Krayt, as did our current COM, Rear Admiral Frodo March. Now that I've given you guys something to think about, time to get onto the report. It's been a quiet week by our standards flying wise this week, but every squad has to have a lull now and then right ;) I'm sure now that all the time in the bar celebrating with the new SL's and FL is up, we'll be sober enough to fly this week ;) Oh look....Sav even pinned his new Bronze Star on crooked due to his intoxicated state :P

General News;

 - First of all, congratulations to the OFFICIAL new Flight Officer, Fleet Admiral Cyric!!!!
 - The Mission Compendium is currently down due to the TAC Office fixing links and stuff. If your after some XvT or XWA battles let me know as I have the majority of them on my HDD :)
 - The new Wing XVIII WC has also been chosen. Congratulations to Major D.T. Hammer on his rank and position promotions!
 - The TAC is currently chasing a new TAC Assistant. More details for apps are posted on the TC News page.
 - The XWA Racing League is running as we speak along with every other form of MP in #ehcoc. If you've been looking for something different to try, give this a go - info at http://www.ehracingleague.minos.net.
 - Yet ANOTHER Wing Commander has resigned, adding to the list of 5/6 in the last few months. Wing X WC Frey Gallandro has stepped down and so applications are currently being accepted for a new WC.
 - Ari is still after an IOA - further details are on the TC news page if your interested.
 - Within the wing, Viper CMDR, Captain Justin is accepting apps for a new Flight III Flight Leader.
 - August MSE awards have now been awarded to the wing, congrats to everyone on their respective medals! YAY!

 - Krayt Squadron Website -- http://krayt.squadron.org/ - Which has been updated to show the recent changes in the squadron.
 - Welcome and congratulations to our new Flight II FL, LCM Arid Foxtrot. He's already made a good start, sending in a pilot file and volunteering to become the squads new Citation Officer.
 - Also welcome to our 2 new Sub Lieutenants, SL Dark Mike and SL Squall. I have not received anything from them as yet, but I'm hoping to see them open their activity 'accounts' this week :)
 - Speaking of activity, now that we have a few more members I'm looking to start some squadron free mission competitions next month. We'll be sticking mainly to XvT and XWA, but I may do some TIE Free's if there is enough call/interest in it. I'll be looking to alternate, giving everyone a week to fly the XvT Free, then the next week allowing a week for an XWA Free, or something to that effect. I'll keep you guys posted.
