- SQUADRON NEWS -

  • SSL semi finals are over and Diamondback did quite well. Once again we ruled the XvT part and advanced to the Final, the last obstacle to our unstoppable progression will be Aggressor Squadron. Not only we are close to receive a lot of shining IS-GWs, we will receive these medals after defeating our own Flag Officers...hehe. Unfortunately we lost the XWA semi-final against Omega but I'm very proud of you, with Wiesio on leave and Drako on semi leave we managed to submit only 4 pilot files while Omega submitted 6, still they won by only 40K points where the battle HS is 24K. No doubt that with the same number of submissions we would have won, but we are a XvT squadron after all :-)

  • The SSL Finals will begin next Friday. This will allow Admins to write down all the scores and will give enough time to finalist squadrons to regain the energies for their ultimate fight.

  • The Intrepid Activity Competition continues and I'm happy to notice that more of you began to participate. Winning squadron will be the new WC's Own and top two pilots will receive IS-SW and IS-BW respectively. Remember that anything count toward final score: MP activity, fiction, gfx, mission creation and of course completion of custom missions.   • The ASF Flying competition ended today and considering the good scores I've received from you for SSL there's a good chance some of us will get double ISs for flying XWA-TC 33 or XvT-TC 59. ASF Trivia is also over but Anna Darksaber competition and ASF Recruitment are still on, don't miss the chance to participate in these two competitions and try to bring some new pilot to our great squadron!
  • Unfortunately CPT Drako is on semi-leave due to some connection problems, he should be back to full activity within a week or two. We all are looking forward to your return! CPT Szydlowski should be on leave too, at least that it was his big bro said to me :-)
  • One last thing, the Flight Officer started a very interesting thread on TC forum where he asks to know what you like or dislike of the TIE Corps. I highly encourage all of you to submit your 2 cents, the ULR is: http://theholo.net/mb/viewtopic.php?t=8056

ISD-II Intrepid Activity Comp!
Start Date (mm/dd/yy): 7/1/2003 
End Date (mm/dd/yy): 8/25/2003 

Medals to be Awarded: IS-SW to Top MP Pilot IS-SW to Top SP Pilot IS-SR To Top IWATS IS-SR To Top Fiction and Graphics IS-BWs and IS-BRs for second places respectfully. Top winning Squadron gets the title of WC's Own, Top Pilot gets the title of COM Protector.
 
Miscellaneous Information: For Every mission flown, one (1) point is awarded to the pilot who flew it. Every fiction sent to the Intrepid Flags gets between 1 and 5 points (up to the Flag's discretion.) 3 points for every Iwats course passed. NO POINTS FOR HIGH SCORES. In addition a Ladder is going on, every ladder loss is worth two points, and every Ladder Win is worth 3. In the end, the pilot with the most points for each section gets an IS-SW or IS-SR (depending the Section) and IS-BW and IS-BR for seconds.
