REPORT No. II
Good evening everyone and welcome to the newest Talon Report :)
NEWS
Well, our beloved WC is on a short trip and should return today. A couple of new pilots will join our Wing within the next hours :) I will announce it as soon as the FO approves it.
But I can make one announcement right now, congrats to LCM Matt Dante on his appointment as FL of Flight 3.
And now to some really important news. The Emperor’s Hammer Battle Launcher (EHBL) has been released.
What does this thing do ?
Well, as you might have noticed, all Missions in the Compendium are now free available again, but you need the EHBL.
The EHBL is a nice tool (and a result of really hard work) that does following:
It takes the little .ehm file that you download from the Compendium and installs it automatically. The user interface shows you the name of the installed mission and you can directly launch the game from the EHBL interface.
All that you do then is to create a new pilotfile (at least for XvT and TIE) and sbmit it as usual to me.
That’s all it. As long as you have a normal system and not a messy hacker like OS should everything work really fine :)
You will find the EHBL in the admin section when you log in to the database, just scroll down.
And before I forget, you HAVE TO USE this little tool, by order of our famous TAC…..

The uebercompetition BGCOM’s Judgement for October has started, so get your bodies in move and submit your files :)

Platform Competition
The one of you that completes the first 10 TieCorps Battles 1 of the 3 big platforms wins an ISM. If you complete the first 10 TC Battles of 2 platforms you earn a 2nd ISM and a 3rd for the last platform.
And I`m adding an extra bonus for you, if you complete all TC Battles of a platform, you get a PC, so get in your cockpit and fly !
Aurora Outpost Competition
I have made a little Mission :)
You fly the Mission and submit the file to me, it won`t get bsf’ed like the normal ones, because it is a custom one.
I will announce the winner in my next report, yo you have a whole week to fly the mission.
Winner gets an IS-BW.

Well,
This week was pretty slow…
I have a response from Matt, Eightguy, Xura and also Praetorian.
Conan, Rainman, you two better report in ASAP!!!
All in all, a new month has begun and we will have some new Competitions on the way and this might include some Squad vs Squad Melee’s, so I would like to see some activity from all of us. I`m a bit rusty on my own, but this will change very soon :)
