Still looking for a Flight Leader for Flight II. Those of you who bothered to reply to me with your opinion of this matter-Thank you. I have posted a notice on the recruitment Message board. Please go there and help the thread by adding your two cents worth on the subject. If no one applies soon I may have to just appoint one of you to the position in order to keep the higher-ups off my case.
CPT Derek Dan has won the Zhaim Jifarr Promotion Party Competition. I'm a little disappointed by the general lack of response to this, my first, competition, especially considering how short I set the length requirement, but it let Derek win with no competition. Wait. No competition for a competition. Sounds a bit oxymoronic, doesn't it? Anyway, Derek expect a shiny new IS-BR in your mailbox soon. And his winning story can be enjoyed by all a little later in this report.
CPT Drako is on leave for two weeks. I think I remember overhearing him say something recently about planning a trip to some pleasure planet, so he probably will not be thinking of us while he's gone, but maybe he'll bring back some nice holorecordings.

Commander Zhaim Jiffar was in a
bad mood. Although he has just been promoted to the position of
the
commander of the Diamondback squadron, only few pilots seemed to
noticed that and congratulate him. What’s
worse. He has just returned from officers cantina where he
offered to buy drinks to all present, but oddly nobody
answered this call.
"What’s going on?!" Zhaim thought. "I have
never seen something like this before!" He walked down
the corridor and entered his new quarters.
"Well, since I have nothing else to do right now I might as
well unpack the rest of my stuff," Zhaim
thought. While he was walking to the boxes with his belongings,
he saw a flashing light. He had received some
new mails over the holonet. Zhaim looked at the boxes once more
and thought, "I cant do this later." He walked
to the computer’s console and began sorting the mail.
"Not important .. that can wait too.. o God! more
advertisements. I’m going to kill the guy that
gave my mail address to those advertisements companies!"
Zhaim thought.
"Oh, what’s that?" he said looking at one of the
mails. It was delivered just a second ago. From iBank?"
Zhaim said surprised. "Well, I thought I had all the
formalities done," he continued and then opened the email.
"Dear Sir, it has come to our attention that your account
balance is now below your limit. You have thirty days
to transfer the required amount of credits or your account will
become locked. Have a Nice Day"
"WHAT!!!" Zhaim shouted. He was beginning to really
hate this day.
"BELOW LIMIT!" Zhaim continued. "I have at least
2000 credits there! How can it be below limit!?"
He connected to the iBank terminal, logged in - and almost had a
heart attack.
"Your account balance is : 5344 credits. You still have 30
days to transfer the money. Have a Nice Day."
Zhaim had seen many things in his life, but right now he was
looking at the console and didn’t know
what to say. It took him a couple of seconds to gather his
thoughts. "How can this be?" he thought.
"That’s
impossible!"
"Wait a minute," he said. "I can always check the
last transfers, can’t I?" He typed the commands and
everything became clear.
All the transfers were done in last half an hour and all were
very similar. Two phrases were most
noticeable, "Alcohol" and "ISD Intrepid
Cantina." This was a bad day, but it just turned worse. It
looked like
the whole destroyer’s crew was drinking on Zhaim’s tap.
Zhaim stormed out of his quarters shouting, "THEY ARE
DRINKING WITHOUT ME!!!!!!!!!!"
