Weekly Squadron Report
This is CPT Vladet Xavier reporting in for Crusader Squadron on October 3rd, 2003

From the Commander's Office
So begins the month of October. Was an extremely slow month for September (the MSE for it was the shortest ever), but this month should bring around a few changes.
As you may have noticed, the Mission Compendium has been opened up. However, all missions now come in a .ehm extension. You will need to download the EH Battle Launcher (from the sidebar in Admin) to install, fly, and BSF the battles. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions about it.
The new motto for Three Flight is The sharper the edge, the quicker the kill. The motto was submitted by Captain Panaka, who will recieve an IS-SR for his efforts. Coming in 2nd place was Commander Keiran Laserlight of Vortex Squadron (who snags an IS-BR). We had many fine entries, and it was very tough to decide (somewhat).
Lieutenant Vance Blackguard won the FCHG Train and Back to School comps for September. He shall recieve an IS-BR and a IS-BW for his efforts. Excellent work.
Alrighty, we have tons of comps going on. First is the FCHG Train, which is basically a bonus IS-BW for the biggest FCHG gainer each month. Then we have Back to School comp. We're lacking IWATS completions I see, so the person who completes the most each month snags an IS-BR. And don't forget that the Recruiting Comp is still going on. Each pilot you bring into the squadron gets you an IS-BR, plus assorted Wing/Ship stuff.
Check out the Squadron Website for updated news, and stupid little things here and there that are somewhat funny and hilarious. Do it. Now. Yeah, just click the link. Shut up and do it.

We got a comp going against Wing III. Some no-name Soveriegn squadrons most likely, so fly something for it, eh? Check Gilad's Wing report. [UPDATE] They have no Wing Commander. That's a kick in the balls, eh?.
Check out Sarin's reports for details on the Grey Wolf Monthly Iron Star comps. Iron Stars are being given out for Recruiting, Fiction, Graphics, etc. Something for everyone!
Recruit pilots, will you? Good ones.

Rear Admiral Frodo won Mission Creation Wars (and winning a Gold Star to boot). Two other guys won Silver Stars, but they're apparantly not important if I can't remember their names.
Read the news page about the precious EH Battle Launcher. Many details there that'll just facinate you.
Just a reminder that multi-player comps are held 24/7 in #ehcoc on the Undernet. I'm sure you all know about that. Sure the Combat Operations Office has gone to hell, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a lovely match of of XvT or XWA!

Final (Whacked) Thoughts
I'm been a CMDR for an awfully long time now. I didn't think I'd last this long. Yes, my WSRs seem hostile, but I'm a practical joker. I love to burst that "official" aura in the TIE Corps. With that said, I hope the Green Bay Packers lose on Sunday. Horribly. Brett Farve sucks.
Remember people, as I have mentioned before: This is a multi-player ship and battlegroup. While flying multi-player is not mandatory (and I certainly won't make you do it), that is what we're here for. Plus, it's far more fun than single-player, especially when we have 2v2s and 3v3s. Trust me, it's a blast.
Squadron Citations List
Crusader Squadron currently has a whopping 13 citations. This is due to our new pilot, Vance, but more pilots are always better than citations. We'll get them back sooner or later!
