Krayt Squadron - Weekly Squadron Report

Hello again. Has been a busier week in the squad this week, with Arid and myself showing it's not just Sav holding up the fort anymore ;)Good to see things starting to pick up again, and it's also good to hear(even if not directly) from our SL's DarkMike and Squall. As you will see I've mentioned below, I would still like to hear from you guys personally, but it is good to hear your still with us. Now it's time for you newbie's to show us some of your flying prowess ;) Plenty of things going on in the TC too this week, not so much ASF related, but the TCBG has been changing staff like Frodo changes his socks! :P

General News;

 - Just a reminder, the ASF now has a new website completed by CPT Drako, check it out at http://asf.minos.net/.
 - The new Flight Office website is also finished and can be found at http://flightoffice.minos.net/.
 - Newsletters 97, 98 and 99 have also recently been released by Astatine.
 - A few more battles come out this week, check out: XWA-DB 5, XWA-CAB 6 and XWA-Free's 106-112.
 - The 2003 Golden Tug Awards are currently in the nominations stage. Check the TC news page for the details of what battles are eligible and send in a few votes for some of the categories and show our mission creators we do value their contribution to our club!!
 - Due to RA Phantom stepping down from Rel-COM with RL issues, BubbaX has now been promoted to Rear Admiral(he is an ass ;)) and is the new COM of the ISD Relentless.
 - Plenty of WC openings in the fleet at present, with Wing's IX, XI and XIX all looking for new Wing Commanders. Details for each position are on the TC news page.
 - Also, congrats go out to the Wing's very own CPT Justin who has been named FA Mike's new TAC Assistant(TACA). Funnily enough, due to Cyric first placing him as a CA:TAC, Justin got the jubilous priviledge of being a Vice Admiral for a day....*shudder* if that ever happens for real next time! :P

 - LCM Arid has just released his 3rd Citations Report - check it out to see what you've been assigned.
 - We have another new SL! Welcome to the squadron, Sub Lt. S 4patas!!
 - Well, I've not yet received a file for the current "Steal my High Score!" competition, but I do know that some of you are doing it, so far activity in the comp doesn't seem too bad. Remember though, the competition ends on the 20th - Monday at midnight US EST...any pilot files that are late will not be accepted!
 - I've also been told that DarkMike and Squall have contacted Arid, so they're not completely inactive, however Mike is having computer problems. I would still like to hear from you guys personally though, just a short email giving me some details about yourself, when your normally online, ICQ#'s etc. I like to get to know my pilots, and to do that I first need to be able to talk to you in some way.
 - Only one medal has come to us from the September MSE as of yet, congrats to LCM Arid Foxtrot on his Imperial Security Medal!
 - One last point I'd like to reiterate is that I'd like to see us be a little more active in the MP side of the Tie Corps. I will hopefully have my copy of XWA back this weekend, and I will be actively trying to get back into some MP over the next few weeks. Hopefully I see a few more of you guys join me. Remember....XvT and XWA WoW's are coming up and they are a great way to practice and learn!
