CMDRs Rant-
Welcome to my first report as Hunter CMDR. I must say it’s been a wild week trying to settle in and get things going. I have submitted 3 comps to the TO and hope they approved soon. I want to thank everyone who has reported in so far. The remaining ones need to report in or risk being AWOL’d. I have a two week policy on reporting in, much longer than a lot of others; I have seen people AWOL’d in less time.
On to the first piece of business… activity. It’s the end all, be all, and reason for us being in the EH. However, my idea of fun may not be yours, so I try and keep an open mind. If you have any ideas, share them. If I use your comp idea as a squadron comp, you will get rewarded. I plan to roll some flying comps, maybe even a little MP ladder flying for those that are interested. Also, be prepared to fly SP missions on a moments notice, I call them battle drills. I will be working out the details soon on the Battle Drills
Second bit of business…New webpage. I have done a new webpage on Minos. It is located here http://www.huntersquadron.tiecorps.net/ . I will try and keep it updated every week so keep an eye on it. Also I have loaded the squadron orders, flying assignments, and other things of interest. Go and look at what is there and let me know if you like it or not.
Third and final bit….Communication. Communication is the Key to a great squadron. You need to keep in contact at least 1 to 2 times a week. A short email, once a week to let me and/or you FL know that you are alive will be sufficient.

After long discussion with Fleet Commander, we have agreed to place old .zips on one of the mirrors. They are all located at: http://battles.tiecorps.net/old/. All people who have EHBL problems can download them now
But. This mirror is going offline at 1st January 2004, so after that time you will only have .ehm files and you WILL HAVE TO use EHBL. You have 3.5 months to solve any EHBL problems you encounter. Mail TAC, SCO, CA:SCO and we will help you.
So. You have .zips back, make EHBL working on your computers, and .zips are going offline on January 1st.
Mid-point of Imperial Storm IV

Yes, we have reached the mid-point, turn 15 of 30. So far all teams have played rather cautions, with only one small skirmish (a Corvette on the Sovereign side was pounced on by an entire Battlegroup!). The last few days have seen lots of sightings of enemies, so I expect some battles real soon. Keep looking for more details as they come.

Commanders Final words-
I must say, I am very happy to once again command a squadron. The last time I did, I was a CMDR for over six months. I gave a lot of time to make my squadron great and after a break I am prepared to do so again. Give me a few days to get everything settled and then we are going to go full steam ahead. I’d like to gain citations for the squadron and show the rest of the Avenger that they are being hunted.
