Phantom Squadron Report Captain Aeolus reporting in for Phantom Squadron on Nov. 1st, 2003, Hey pilots. This week has been pretty fun for me, getting to know everyone. La'an I'm still working on getting MSN to register an actual MSN email address so I can use it to chat. Otherwise you can all catch me on AIM at Athes02. Or IRC, though I've been there a lot less recently as I realized the program lowers my efficiency. I would usually send out a report on Friday, but since it was Halloween, I didn't get a chance. Without further discussion lets dive right into this weeks report!
In Fleet News:
- A COMMA (Communications Office Assistance) is needed. This is to help with IRC meetings, the message boards and the COMM webpage. If you think you're up for the job the criteria are listed on the TIE Corps main news page as well as instructions on how to apply.
- A couple new TIE missions and battles were released by the TAC Office, TIE-TC #213-215 as well as TIE-FREE #238
- The XO has started a competition to get himself a new webpage. All submissions for this competition are due on November 30th. The basic webpage can be found here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/xo/). This is a very basic idea of what should be on the webpage. If anybody here has webpage making skills I encourage you to apply. IS-GR to the winner!
- For those that fly TIE Fighter. A new Ship Patch was released with some new ships.
In Wing News and Activities:
- It has been a quiet week in the Wing, however pressure is still on with the Great Wing Bash! All entries are due tomorrow so good luck to everyone. The mission to fly is XWA-FREE #4.
- Do you have some skills in Multiplayer? Do you want to earn some Legions of Combat? Check out #ehcoc the Emperor's Hammer's Competition Center channel on IRC and find yourself an oppontent. Good luck!
- As always, the flags in the wing really like to get email. I'm not sure why I didn't ask. So the more bsfs we get the more email they get, then they get happier and award more medals. Good times had by all.
In Squadron News and Activities:
- I have settled into Commander quite well, I really enjoy all the pilots around here. It is a great squadron and I look forward to working with all of you.
- There always has been a nice competition for Squadron of the Month or even pilot of the month. I hope we're well on our way to earning one or both of these awards here.
- Come chat in #ISD_Immortal on the undernet. It's the place where everything happens, and everyone makes fun of me.
- A new competition was approved, called "Phantom Mottos". Details can be found here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1071. Basically you're just creating new mottos, with the potential of earning a whole lot of medals. Good luck. Due date isn't for 2 weeks so take your time.

Citation Assigments:
The Squadron XO, Tygra Shadowclaw will be heading up the citations portion of the squadron. I have complete trust in him that he'll help us acheive the most we can out of our citations. First goal is to hit 50! We have 49 so that shouldn't be terribly difficult. Thanks Tygra and thanks everyone else.
