Hey everyone, and welcome to my 23rd edition of the Krayt Squadron WSR. Well...after a quiet one last week, it was pleasing to see us blow the doors off the Intrepid this week with our activity, the squadron flying about 100 missions in the week alone. Some of us also competed in various Multiplayer events too, so thats been encouraging to see aswell. It was also great to see our newest member actually be active the first week he got here....so well done Cutter ;) Anyway...we've got some new competitions on the way, internal competitions along with the 'Intrepid Realistic Combat' and Imperial Storm IV, so over the next few weeks it will be interesting to see just how far we can push ourselves to finish well in any comp that is thrown at us! Congrats to all on a job well done this week, lets keep it going and get an early start on next month!! ;)

 - The 2003 Golden Tug Awards are currently in the nominations stage. Not much time left now to get in your votes!

 - TCCOM's Own has returned, reinstigated by Cyric, and is awarded to the best Overall wing in the TC. In conjunction with this, FA Cyric has also started a TCCOM banner comp - Competition ID #1066...check it out ;)

 - In addition to the FOA spot currently open for aps, the COMM is now after a COMM Assistant. Details for apps are on the main TC news page if your interested in applying.

 - Avenger now has a Commander! Congratulations to Lt. Colonel Azazel on his promotion to Squadron Commander. MAJ Girth Snail has also now become Flight 2 Flight Leader...congrats to both!

 - In a newtonian situation, after mentioning not much has happened in the Imperial Storm IV competition, the ISD Intrepid has finally run into some competition and a battle will ensue. 'Bout goddamn time! ;)

 - I'd like to welcome another new member to the squadron! Welcome to Krayt Lt. Commander Cutter! Be nice to him everyone, he is an OLD friend of mine, and he's also a wookie.....so dont upset him!! ;)

 - We've had a very active week this week, so I congratulate the squadron on it's activity.  However I have not heard from Ace for a few weeks now, please contact me Acey and lemme know whats goin on :) I'd also like to hear from you, SL S 4_patas ASAP!

 - I'm not sure if you've all heard yet, but Gidda started a new MP melee competition called 'Intrepid Realistic Combat' for Squadrons. Basically what we do is setup a small 'flight' of pilots from the Sqd and fly an XvT Free together as a group and compete with the other Intrepid Squadrons. Sounds good eh? What I'd like to know is who is up for it? I was thinking Sav and I would definitely be in one 'flight' as we're both from Australia and easy to meet together. I'm hoping I can get Shalvros into the squadron too so we can have one flight of aussies, and I'd like to have another flight aswell, if it is allowed(Gidda?), possibly consisting of Arid, Ace and Cutter. Let me know what you think guys, I will speak to Gidda and find out if we can have two flights or not :)

 - I've also finally got XWA back, so this weekend/next week I will be looking for an XWA-Free mission competition for the squadron. In the next couple of weeks I'm also hoping to have organised a continuous free mission competition that will alternate between XvT, XWA and possibly TIE. So keep an eye out for that too :)
