Welcome to the newest Kappa Squadron Report. The week has been very
quiet again. Well, I seriously tried to get some competitions started,
but it all took longer than planned... For example, I have challenged
Talon Squad, and CMDR Frey also accepted the challenge, but he didn't
answer yet to my mail about the suggested mission and rules, so I
can't get the competition approved yet.
Carl has also offered a comp and suggested that we could team up to
challenge a stronger non-Sov-squad. No details yet, though. If
somebody has a good idea for an opponent, let it out. :)
As soon as all these comps take off, we'll have a lot of flying to do,
until then... well it's still too quiet in here, I fear.
Especially Algaron and Astarosta need to report in ASAP! You've been
without any activity for three weeks now. A proof of life, please!


Squadron News

- LC Todbringer has put the Sov Cup on hold until his problems with
the EHBL have been sorted out.
On a side note, the CD-check has been removed from the program, so if
you had problems running it so far, you might want to try it again.
Also, Reb told me that progress on the Mac version is going well.

- Imperial Storm IV is ON!

- Rho lost their match against Sin. As Seth wanted to challenge every
squad in the wing, let's hope for Rho that this wasn't a bad omen.

- Talon CMDR Frey agreed on an inter-squad-comp, but didn't reply to
my mail with the suggested details yet. Still I hope this comp takes
off soon, or I'll call him a Timmay. :P

- When that comp is done, Sin and Kappa will team up to take out some
larger opponent (or two). Suggestions are welcome.

- If you didn't already, get the EHBL to work on your computer. Its
use will be enforced after the end of the month.

- Graphics for Proton's Sov Killboard can still be handed in (to
hullbreach@warpmail.net) until the 20th. Good submissions will be
rewarded with Iron Stars (GR, SR and BR).

- Vote for one of the suggested attack plans in Stele's voting
competition here: http://theholo.net/mb/viewtopic.php?t=9072. I know
that membership numbers are falling, but last time I checked, our
wing was bigger than 11 people. SO GET YOUR BUTT THERE AND VOTE!

- Algaron and Astarosta please report in to show that you're still
alive.

- Obelisk Order 6th Anniversary (AD Darknyte)
I recieved this from MAA Khaen, and while it's not TC specific it is
a major milestone in the EH and quite relevant to the club as a
whole, so his email is as follows:

You may or may not be aware that today, the 9th of October, marks
the 6th Anniversary of the Dark Brotherhood's Obelisk Order. It was
officially opened on this day in 1997 by Obelisk High Commander
Blazer, to coincide with the release of Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight.

To commemorate this event, I have put together a site with a brief
look at the history of the order, a complete listing of all Obelisk
High Commanders and GMRG Commanders of the Guard to date, and a
selection of interesting files, documents, and images from the
Order's long past.

I hope you enjoy browsing through this 'museum display' as much as I
