Be on the lookout for easter eggs!

In a moment of drunkeness, Vice Admiral Sarin has promoted me to the rank of Major! Good lord. Oh well, many more to come hopefully.

As you may have noticed, the Mission Compendium has been opened up. However, all missions now come in an .ehm extension. You will need to download the EH Battle Launcher (from the sidebar in Admin) to install, fly, and BSF the battles. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions about it. Remember, you must use the EHBL starting November 1st (my birthday! :P) otherwise you'll get HCI'd.

Speaking of easter eggs, we got a new comp for all of Wing XIII. You may have noticed I have some things hidden in my WSRs (secret/hidden links to pictures, etc). First pilot in the Wing to discover and e-mail me the easter egg recieves an IS-BR.

Alrighty, we have tons of comps going on. First is the FCHG Train, which is basically a bonus IS-BW for the biggest FCHG gainer each month. Then we have Back to School comp. We're lacking IWATS completions I see, so the person who completes the most each month snags an IS-BR. And don't forget that the Recruiting Comp is still going on. Each pilot you bring into the squadron gets you an IS-BR, plus assorted Wing/Ship stuff.

Top Gun is going on. Do it if you must.

Check out Sarin's reports for details on the Grey Wolf Monthly Iron Star comps. Iron Stars are being given out for Recruiting, Fiction, Graphics, etc. Something for everyone!

Lots of news this week!

Admiral Kyle Katarn (the Combat Operations Officer), made a bunch of random and useless posts on the TIE Corps News Page. He doesn't make much sense, eh?

The new Flight Office website is up. The Aggressor Strike Force website is fully operational, and it looks simply smashing. I'm too lazy to link you, so find it yourself.

Eagles of Freedom is over, and the Grey Wolf comes out a winner! Major Choosh won the XWA division, while I snagged the XvT/BoP division. We're getting Iron Star - Platinum Ribbons, baby!

Several new battles and FREE missions have been released by the Tactical Office. Do check them out if you want something new to fly, eh?

Sector Admiral Astatine is still looking for a pair of XOAs. If you meet all those juicy, delicious, and subtle requirements (aaaaaand have three reccomendations?!!) you can snag the spot! Apply today!

Astatine has also released three new newsletters to the fleet. Go read them ... they're quite ... fine. Yeah, go read 'em.

Read the news page about the precious EH Battle Launcher. Many details there that'll just facinate you. For you Windows 2000/XP users, you'll need to get a fix for your fix. I needed it, and now it works.

Just a reminder that multi-player comps are held 24/7 in #ehcoc on the Undernet. I'm sure you all know about that. Sure the Combat Operations Office has gone to hell, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a lovely match of of XvT or XWA!

Final (Whacked) Thoughts

I'm been a CMDR for an awfully long time now. I didn't think I'd last this long. Yes, my WSRs seem hostile, but I'm a practical joker. I love to burst that "official" aura in the TIE Corps. With that said, I hope the Green Bay Packers lose on Sunday. Horribly. Brett Farve sucks.

Remember people, as I have mentioned before: This is a multi-player ship and battlegroup. While flying multi-player is not mandatory (and I certainly won't make you do it), that is what we're here for. Plus, it's far more fun than single-player, especially when we have 2v2s and 3v3s. Trust me, it's a blast.

Squadron Citations Corner

Crusader Squadron currently has a whopping 13 citations. This is due to our new pilot, Vance, but more pilots are always better than citations. We'll get them back sooner or later!
